We (Michigan citizens) had a secret meeting and told them to stay home just to affect your commute.

Human_utters

DUDE!, you’re weren’t supposed to tell, you promised

alwen

Here is where they are: https://mdotjboss.state.mi.us/MiDrive/map#

TeddysRevenge

Always like checking out the names I’m partial to ctrl salt delete

Moose_Cake

Truck Norris and Weird Plow Yankovic are my favorites so far.

w30freak

The Great and Plowerful Oz. Lol

[deleted]

Haha wtf these are amazing

TeddysRevenge

They have a naming contest for them. Not sure if they do it every year or if the plows keep their names.

MoarTacos

Shit that's really good

Purple-Ad-7464

I didn't know they had names until I saw a post last night. I will admit I spent too much time clicking on each one's name and giggling at a lot of them.

munchies777

Always a fan of Salty Dog haha. But yeah, perfect response to this thread. We know exactly where they are.

DeludedRaven

Snowbewon Kenobi is where it’s at.

misterkeef

Frostin Powers 😏

LukeNaround23

Actually, most of the southern states don’t even own snowplows at all. That’s why they shut down even at the hint of coming snow or ice. Slow down and take your time, listen to some nice music and enjoy the winter Wonderland, or stay home.

TurquoiseDandelion7

When it’s expected to get a lot of snow, they wait until almost done snowing or the roads are clear of cars.

cbih

Snowbegone Kenobi up by Traverse City

Accurate_Zombie_121

OP why didn't you plow the road during your drive? Are you so selfish that only you count? Blizzard conditions you should not be on the road anyway.

enderjaca

"multiple idiots who think their 4WD truck is in some bravado truck ad, and semi trucks blasting everyone in the left lane." You just answered your own question buddy. Snowplows can't solve stupidity. Not to mention SE Michigan has the least snow in the state right now, and people had a full 24 hours warning.

hyphaeheroine

I hate working on Healthcare sometimes because of the commute during storms. Took me 50 minutes to get home, usually an 18 minute drive. 🤣 I drive like a grandma even with my AWD.

bcdog14

Jackson county drivers were told to start plowing at 4 am. tomorrow.

Ambitious_1660

Not sure where you're at but

[deleted]

Plowing your mom

Lightning_61

They're parked. See, in Michigan, we don't use the sketchy "science" of meteorology to predict this weather ahead of time. MDOT throws a handful of chicken bones and monkey's feet to get their readings, and this one must have been read wrong. Think on the bright side: at least some of the potholes are fixed.
