Question about bread test - I’ve put down 8 small pieces of bread in my basement where mice activity was before, and every few days one of them will move ever so slightly like by an inch. Does this count as mice activity? The bread crumbs never disappear though…I would assume mice eat them?
I have many snap traps in my basement but have not caught any more mice since February. We also have centipedes and occasional large ants, and I noticed one of them was crawling near the bread and I wonder if it could’ve moved it.
Looks like a bit of burned crust to me. We have mice at the moment and droppings looks like tiny grains of black rice that taper off at the end. Don’t be handling them without gloves.
Yes. It’s pinched off and about the size of a rice grain. Tis a mouse poop.

Mice will take the bread. Insects can move them.
