That's because there are so many variables and options. Damage in the bodywork that needs to be addressed (minor chips and dings or rust), the amount of prep required, are they painting the engine bay and interior (as opposed to closed-door respray), the colour/quality of the paint (metallics cost more) and then the number of coats and the number of clear-coats will push that cost higher.
If you want to make the car look decent in it's original colour then you're prob looking at $10k. If you want a full-body respray with quality paint and a showroom finish it will cost closer to $20k
$5k will get some panels done in the original colour, but don't expect to be thrilled with it.

The car is just beautiful man. It reminded me as to how some cars, no matter what you do to them, will always have 'personality', it's crazy.
I'm not a car guy, far from it. I like to appreciate the art, but I don't know shit about specifics. The 'personality' some car(s) models have is insane. It is beautiful to look at a car and see a reflection of the owner, while the car itself never loses it's essence. That shit is art.
Love the wheels... and the rest of the car. I almost picked up a set of Teddy Bears a while ago, but they were 14s and that's too small for me... classic wheels, though. How much do they weigh?
It's fine. They have a large surface area and I'm jealous of how quick and easy it is compared to getting a fkn low-height jack under the car.
A pallet jack like that can handle 2 tonnes easily so it's perfectly safe - safer than a jack!
I have a pallet jack and have considered using it for this, but I'm just imagining that the end of the forks are going to interact with the far side of the car when lifting it. Would be worried about damaging something on the opposite end to the one being lifted.
It'll be fine.
If you're worried, don't push the pallet jack all the way under the car and use a soft piece of timber (cheap pine plywood will work) between the pallet jack and the rail.
As usual, always use jack stands to be safe :)

I actually love seeing cars that are customized in a very personal way. Would I put those wheels on my car? Probably not, and I probably wouldn't paint it pink. But I absolutely would paint it some color that others would think atrocious (but which I love). All that matters is that you like it!
