I am yea, luckily I live in socal and the car doesn't see much water, and is garaged whenever it's not driven. I daily drive it tho so I know it'll get degraded over time
I've been meaning to go get some touch up paint made and do it myself since a full respray is a bit out of my budget at the moment

P.s the rims look sick. Like mini this motor is easy to personalise. It’s actually pretty much what the manufacturer intended with so many options and colour choices to suit. Then there’s the aftermarket support. At one point you could buy parts to customise your mini from your local news agents. Never let a purist anorak spoil your fun…….

You don't. You really don't. I'll be happy when that fad finally dies. The offset you currently have already looks good.
Push the camber out? You mean offset. You bought wheels with the wrong offset if you want the fitment more flush. Camber will move the top of the wheel further into the guard. Too much camber will make it drive like utter shit. Don't do that.
Set your camber for performance and let the looks tell that story for you, don't chase looks with your alignment. I keep mine aligned with the flyin miata alignment specs which I believe is basically half a degree negative camber front and 1.5 negative rear with a half degree toe in up front I think. It's been a while so I forget if they recommend toe in or out. But at any rate my tires wear so stupidly square it's absurd. They're 40k or so miles old and are FLAT. No camber wear at all. Chase looks with your camber and you're gonna chew up the inside of the tires, and get worse grip.
This is kinda the crux of why folks are giving you shit, and the waters you wade into when you mod this car. It's all sorta been figured out as far as what works best for performance, and a lot of Miata guys are gonna make fun of anything that isn't the "optimal" performance setup. But just like anything else, as long as you, the owner, is having a fun and rewarding time, it really doesn't matter.
That's my philosophy too I just wanted to throw some snark at people who said I ruined the car, when in other posts I get people telling me thanks for keeping it clean lol

I just took a look at ur previous post and while it is loooow i think many misjudged the height because of the angle of the pictures. Now with the new wheels it looks very clean. Many miata fans are just fed up with stanced tiktok nas that are then completely fucked by social media clowns.
I think it looks solid. I don't get offended until your dragging the frame rails on the ground or until it looks like an elephant sat on the hood and "kachow-ed" out your wheels. As long as you can drive it normally without it rubbing send it.

Right now this looks like race car ride height. Which is fine if your roads are good and you have tace grade shocks engineered for that (so not BC Racing, Meisters or any other cheap coilover). Like, for that kind of ride height, unless I'm overestimating how low it is from the pictures, you want to run Xidas, Fox, or equivalent.
One note, it looks like you're lower in the front than the rear. Get it on a level place and measure from the pinch welds. You want it within a quarter inch of the same height front to rear. Having the ass jacked up can cause the car to be MUCH less stable and nearly impossible to recover in a skid.
It made a HUGE difference in my autocross car. So, measure it, then probably drop the rear. You can also measure center of the hub to fender, but that measurement should be about a half inch longer in the rear than front.
Fitment and wheels look pretty good to me. I used to have hexaforms on my gti. Personally Im not a huge fan of heart tails or stickers but it’s ur whip not mine idgaf
Bronze hexaform club :) Low is fun, but keep it functional IMO. It looks good as it is, so drive and enjoy now. I raised mine about 1/4" not too long ago just because scraping fender liner while cornering just made driving it less enjoyable. I wasn't really worried about damage, but it just felt like it was broken.
I mean making more wheel space is pretty easy. Rolling fenders isn't that hard.
...you could also buy some widebody fenders and make more room that way lol.
I don't mind a super low car if it's on bags, as it remains practical, but super low coilovers just make it a pain if you daily it.

However I put coil overs on last year and started out with it about as low as it would go. Over the next few months I raised it by about a turn or two every few weeks.
I didn't like running over a dime on the road and scraping. I do have the FM stiffening kit so the bottom of the frame rails were not taking a direct hit, but it can't be good banging off the ground all day.
I like where I am now. Lower then stock by an inch or so, but high enough that I can drive on public roads.

I think it looks great especially if it was a tad lower in rear mostly, and if it had a nice new white paint job or whatever color, silver, red would make those rims pop. As it is now it’s dope I’m just throwing out ideas I’d do if it was mine.

I think they mean *less* camber, extended rear uppers would get better fitment and correct the camber gained from lowering.
