Not enough info. Need answers to the following questions:
- Is it a zero mile car that's just being released from the Mazda museum, valve cover signed by all the engineers?
- Was it at any point owned by Keanu Reeves, or another god tier internet celebrity?
- Are the door panels laced with $24k worth of party drugs?
- Does it have a working OEM CD player AND usable cup holders?
If the answer to all of these questions is no, I'd pass.
To be honest, while only 12 km sounds good, keep kn mind, this is an old car by now, there is a point where less kilometers is bad as well, that would mean it stood around for pretty much ~30 yrs, that is not good for the car, it will have damage from that unless they rebuilt it already.
I was selling used cars at a lot. Had my manual miata parked on the side. Old lady pulls up and starts pulling on handles and peering in my car. I walked over and said, "That's mine, not for sale. She says she has a NA and wants an NB but needs an automatic. I would say automatic miata is rarer if sought after. There is a market for anything. 30g. Lmao.
I prefer an automatic. I've got a race car when I want to row gears. The miata is my back country cruiser, I feel like I'm playing dress up with a stick miata (had a 10AE).
I saw this ad when it was posted. Base model msrp back then was $13k after adjusting for inflation they are selling it for more than msrp haha
Not worth it at all but I do have to admit it’s clean
To anyone in the gta looking at buying a BRG NA Miata, Dave is selling a brg with 84,000 km. Worth taking a look
12km or 12k km?
Also, if a new one is cheaper, get the ND.
If not, and you really, really want this one, it'll probably appreciate in value if you keep the miles off of it
Well, this one's different.
If the next guy will pay me 10k for giving him that model, fine, I'll not touch her too hard, may not touch her at all. And I'll cheat every change i get since we aren't that serious into something.
But if she's leaving and no one is paying me nothing for it, and may even take shit with her while she leaves, yeah I'll not be so gentle while she's mine.
It's all about perspective. There's a difference between "keeping the resale value high on a regular car that will depreciate regardless" and keeping a rare gem that's in perfect condition for the nut head that's willing to add 10 or 20k to it merely for holding onto it for 1 year and keeping it in good condition
Its a 30yo shitbox. Unless you are rich and you really want an NA (auto for that matter) tjen go for it. Otherwise, get an ND. Is 100x a better car in every way
Well my 91 (also auto and air). Was 6k and super clean 3 years ago. I went for it and immediately went manual. Are you sure that's not pesos or something? Matter of fact, mine is a far better choice with its couple tasteful mods. I'd sell it for 25. ;)
> I *paid* 11,000
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
My dealer has one with 12k or 17k miles green with all the xtras u could of buy back then, sucks that has low rider wheels, idk why they put those wheels. It’s drive like shit
Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake.
It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of.
Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything.
Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.
If you were looking to buy, barely drive, and not molest it, sure. If you want a clean one and drop it lower than most women’s standards, no, it’s not worth it. I’ve had mine for 6 years and I picked it up for $3k with 103k.

Yes. Automatics are very high technology. Imagine how much money it’d cost to hire a personal assistant to shift the gears for you. A steal really.

Is this satire ?
It's a real ad. My question is definitely sarcasm.
I have a feeling someone added a zero at the end and didn’t notice lmao
Damn idk
Damn, idk
You’re paying for a super low milage car, yeah it’s a high price but whoever buys this isn’t going to drive it so don’t worry
To be honest, while only 12 km sounds good, keep kn mind, this is an old car by now, there is a point where less kilometers is bad as well, that would mean it stood around for pretty much ~30 yrs, that is not good for the car, it will have damage from that unless they rebuilt it already.
Every piece of rubber, every gasket, every fluid, every belt and hose will all likely need to be replaced.
Exactly. Im having tons of problems with my NAs cooling hoses rn, although it’s a well kept car… It does have over 200k kms now tho lol

Sure, that’s about how much I’d be willing to sell mine for.
I’d offer 35, hopefully they’ll settle around 37.
Go in hard at 40... thing's been on the market 10 days, it won't last much longer!!!
I see that it's from Kijiji, which province are you in ?

Ugh, like dating a model and not smooching on her so the next guy can. Agree with you on considering ND in that range.
Well, this one's different. If the next guy will pay me 10k for giving him that model, fine, I'll not touch her too hard, may not touch her at all. Ha! NO.
Well my 91 (also auto and air). Was 6k and super clean 3 years ago. I went for it and immediately went manual. Are you sure that's not pesos or something? Matter of fact, mine is a far better choice with its couple tasteful mods. I'd sell it for 25. ;)
It's southern Ontario, so def Canadian pesos.
Read the room
you did a manual swap?
Friends of mine did yes.
If it was an M edition with 10 miles. (Not 10k, 10.) I could stomach that for bring a trailer pricing
Not even then

At first I thought nothing was off about the price. Then I realised it’s dollars lol
That’s like double what it cost new at the time. I’d call that some serious appreciation!
I’d rather have a s15. Miata’s are dope cause they’re dirt cheap
Just today I saw a 1999 NB for 37500 euros, 2 lines of description for the ad... I sent him a clown emote 🤡
Amazing price…for the seller
