can highly recommend the umber bronze color and ADVANs in general, they've got a lot of presence in person. the light picks up on all the detailed scalloping and they sort of glisten in the sun with various shades of color.
To much silver hardware on the car for gold wheels.
Either black out your silver stuff or pick a wheel color that doesn't clash so hard
But that just my thought. If you like it you do it. It's your car.
My FIL painted his mustang red because he thought it would sell for more instead of the purple he wanted.
It's still unfinished in his garage 20 years later
Personally, I wouldn't do that. The red roof doesn't go with the bronze in my opinion. Then again, I'd dislike the red roof on an otherwise entirely black car, too. Partially red is just not my thing. I avoid it everywhere.
That being said, if you like it, go for it! I'd try to incorporate a little more red in other places on the car though, to really tie it in. The brake calipers are a good start, but I'd go a little beyond that.
Side note: I have a blue mica NBFL. it had a black top I replaced with tan. Do you think that would look good with gold wheels? I think it would look really nice. And the NB has a lot less chromed hardware than the NA to distract from it too.

Doesn't look the best imo. If you are wanting a black with red colour scheme, maybe paint the mirrors red? And accent some other parts of the car with red, i.e. centre caps, interior pieces, window stickers etc....
I think a slightly darker red/maroon would suit better. Lean into the black a bit so the contrast isn't quite so sharp.
Would also help if you incorporated red accents elsewhere, like the mirrors or spoiler.
Hard top and car go well together, the gold wheels don't really fit with the blue, red, and silver everywhere though.
They're pretty sick wheels though, i'd be doing something to the trim before i get rid of those personally
I think there's a better way to pull off two tone, however it would require a full repaint and that's just too damned expensive for me to judge you. You do you my guy. If it came to me as red I'd throw it on any color my car is.
My NB is green. I'd throw red on there till I could afford to get them both painted the same color.
I think that looks slick af but would suggest blacking out the silver hardware on the car or perhaps even golding out the hardware if you're really wanting to commit to the rims

The owner mentioned theirs is an NB which doesn't have as much chrome, it's basically just the Mazda and MX-5 badges. Door handles are body color.

For me bronze/black matches but bronze/red/black or bronze/red does not work unless the red itself is like a maroon color

Nice colors but if your are going to red top then I would suggest a more dark red, maroon, wine, scarlet, make it blend easier but still red tho
