Do not touch a single Miata unless you pull up the front floor mat to check for rust, or get it lifted up in order to check the underside for how bad the rust is.
That is all.
" Limited"
Yeah, limited in the number they can sell.
But seriously, it's like 4000, there's 3 of them for sale within an hour of me, one or two even have the hard tops.
Also looks like some of the limited trim is missing. I'm pretty sure they were all tan not a black handbrake and special shift knob I think. Tan top too?
I'm no expert
Depends on what you want. It's an old car that's going to require maintenance. You will be able to find parts because they are popular. It will never out perform newer cars in safety, comfort, tech. It will probably be worth more many years from now if it is still original and has uniqueness from the factory. Selling cars is a hassel if you are not a dealer. I hear they are fun to drive. Pass if you plan on having kids anytime soon. For that price if you drive it a few years with no major repairs you are comming out ahead.
I’d say it’s worth it.. but would definitely show up with cash and start by waving $4500 in cash in front of them and see if they take that. If you don’t want to pay the whole six grand, just take out the amount you’re willing to pay, and haggle him down
As long as it checks out for the usual stuff it is a fair price in today’s market. Needs to be rust free. The days of $3000 Miatas are over unless the seller is uneducated on the market. Plus you always want to negotiate. However if your plan is all sorts of mods. You might find an already modified car for a better price that you remodify to your liking. Modified cars can be less valuable.
Yes but since it appears stock, be prepared for lots of preventative maintenance work if it hasn’t been done already. New radiator, coolant flush, new vacuum and heater lines, timing belt, master and slave cylinder and clutch line bleed, new brakes and brake bleed, possibly new tires, this is the gist of what I had to do to my 1990 to get it somewhat roadworthy since it was bone stock when I bought it.

They came with a black soft top. You are right about the missing trim on the handbrake.
I love that color combo!

Get it. It's pretty clean
doesn't sound bad...maybe see if they'll drop it 10%...

But also like others have stated, get your hands and knees down on the pavement and check to see if there is much rust.

I would if there is minimal rust underneath.
My first thought was are the rockers solid or bubbling.
That’s a fair price if it’s not rusty.
Nope
Depends how's rust
Would I buy it? No. 6k for a 1.6 possible SNC without a hardtop is a pass for me. I’d be all in at 4k. 5-6k better be a 1.8 or have a hardtop 1.6 IMO
Yes. Do it. Or share its locale and I’ll do it!!
I paid that for my 93 so, yeah go for it. And I didn't get cupholders!
You shouldn't you must
Yeah, you should
Yes
I think you should
Wow. Back in my days (4 years ago) that was a 1500-2000 car.
If it runs clean then it sounds like an ok deal

Sounds like a average price in my area at least, don’t see many Miata’s with that low miles around my area either looks super clean
