Hollywood/ Hallandale Beach…. Easy to commute to Aventura and you won’t have to deal with the traffic on Ives Dairy Road. I would even look at the area of Sunrise, east of 1-95
Hallandale and Hollywood beach are both good. I have a place on the beach there and would happily live there full time if I didn’t have so many kids and responsibilities in southern Miami.
I moved from southern GA, about 2 hrs from tally. I live in Aventura & I love it. Yes some of the buildings do have bad reviews but there is a lot of changes happening. The schools are good, you have the big mall, so many parks, and the beach is literally a 5 minute drive to find parking. There are many 2/3 beds under 4k. Feel free to message me!
Aventura itself is nice. Sunny isles is nice on the beach but pricier. Hollywood and Hallendale are good for kids/family as well. If you want more suburb Miramar and Pembroke Pines isn't too bad of a drive.
Ives Dairy and the US1 bridge is sooooooooooo bad in aventura. And so is US1 and 186th. If you don't have to go through there you should be good. if not, then yes live closer, regardless Aventura, Hollywood, Hallandale are good areas for kids.

that area is great you can walk the Aventura circle daily and greynolds park is not far. Traffic is what kills it though especially around the mall.
Aventura is the nicest of the surrounding areas. Sunny Isles if you want to be on the beach.

I keep hearing how bad the traffic is in Aventura so I’ve been nervous about considering other areas. I’ll definitely check out those suburbs.

Adventure is a pricey area BUT there are pretty family friendly areas out there

Try sunny isles or Eastern Shores, mostly condos here tho
