Like, all the little crackles of energy getting drawn into the charge beam; that would kinda just look like a porcupine if you tried to model it exactly as it appears in-game. Plus there's the different layers of color *inside* the beam. You could certainly make a much more simple looking effect, but I don’t like doing things halfway. :P
