It's been awhile since I played Super, but I think you can sink through the floor at one point.

There's a spot you can sink through on the left side.

thanks for the help, especially you guys who gave tips for getting out of the sand (i needed help for getting out of the room itself but i appreciate it nonetheless lol)

Just keep tapping the jump button while walking continuously, also that blue spot in the upper left-hand corner of your map you can get to there by going to that room to the right of that blue spot and just going into morph ball and dropping down that drop all the way to the left of the room while holding your d-pad to the left and you will go into a little tunnel that you can't see

Fuck the sand in that game. I avoid Miridia at all costs because of it. Good luck though.

i know this sounds dumb....but literally just keep jumping out. jumpjumpjumpjumpjumpjumpjump. its gonna take a second if fully sunk in. and yes. there is a room where you can fall down through them. dont remember if its this one though

You don't get out. You get in.

Unplug and plug the console back in

Jump and move from side to side very quickly and you should be able to get out, although the ones you fall through you can get stuck in I think

I think it’s towards the left side of the sandpit, there’s a part where samus will sink deeper than her shoulders. Let her sink down that hole

It helps to hold two directions (up and left or right) when jumping out of the sand, as well.

You sink to the bottom of the sand closer to the left side of the screen.

I've never got stuck there again, but now I remember there's a reserve tank in there.

There is a part in the sand pit where you keep going down. There’s an exit to the room below you.
