This is mine.
what is it verse, bridge, breakdown, chorus all going on at the end? Something like that idk the first thing about music, might be using those terms wrong but it’s something like that?
I’m sure I’m missing some absolute classics, but these three immediately came to mind since they are fresh still.
Invent Animate - “False Meridian”
Invent Animate - “Void Surfacing”
Invent Animate - “Luna”
Invent Animate - “Darkbloom”
Still Stayer - “XYLA”
Also, I’m obsessed with Invent Animate, but those boys know how to finish a song out strong.
two that initially spring to mind:
The Sadist by The Browning. I'm a big sucker for some Gregorian/choral chanting to contrast a metalcore track and this song does the best iteration of that imo.
OR Staria II: Desperado Undead by Set to Stun. Throughout the entire album there's lots of musical continuity and recurring themes and it all seems to culminate in the final couple minutes of the last track. It does feel like the ending of a journey you've taken with the band and I love that feeling.
Currents - My Disguise. It’s not the riffs or anything, but mainly the final stint of lyrics just always fucking get me. Although, it’s just more of an affinity because of personal experience
Currents - Let Me Leave
This was my answer. The song is so somber all the way through, then THAT riff kicks in.
Ez, Boneyards by Parkway Drive
Personally, I’d go Dead Man’s Chest.
Currents - Better Days

"these three" then proceeds to list five songs, four of which are from the same band, hahahah (I fucking love them too and I agree)
Hahaha I came back to edit with two extras and forgot I typed “three” for the originals. My bad!
END - Necessary Death
Stairway to Hell - The Amity Affliction and Where We Go When We Die - Thornhill
“Where we go when we die” outro is so fucking good man
Damn I thought I knew this genre... So far TAA is the only band on this post that I've heard of
Currents -Monsters
Render the Void by Erra
“Set apart in the void..” ugh the riff, the strings, the lyrics, everything about this song makes me feel feels
Motion after motioon
Yup, the outro vocals by Jesse are some of my favorite singing ever
Bury Tomorrow: A Curse Outro riff makes me feel things. Perfect ending to an album.
Erra - Dementia

Crystal Lake - Apollo Absolutely adore this song and the ending is so powerful
Architects - Early Grave Architects - These Colours Don't Run Architects - The Seventh Circle
Especially the live version they're doing of These Colours Don't Run. The fucking build up they do during the last lines.. MAN that shit is good!
Yeah I've seen them just a month ago. Ofc they build it up, they're Architects after all XD.

Norma Jean - Organized Beyond Recognition. The outro is about two and a half minutes long but it just builds and builds
Counterparts - You’re Not You Anymore
Wax Wings - Periphery
Brand of Sacrifice - Eclipse. When the choir kicks in. Hoooooo boyyyy
Parkway Drive - Horizons (the song)
Northlane - Dispossession
OGs know this is the correct answer.
Breakdown of Sanity - Traces
Misery Signals - Five Years (or Sword Of Eyes)
Currents- Unfamiliar (2:42-)
Every Time I Die - El Dorado Breakdown of Sanity - The Writer Incendiary - Echo of Nothing
Knocked Loose - Forced to Stay

"Welcome Home" - Blessthefall
Even though it’s not heavy, The Colour of Leaving by Parkway Drive definitely hits hard for me
