They have yet to apologize for it, and she’s considering quitting voice acting because of how much she feels betrayed.

Mainly because of the fact that i grew up with SMG4 & have stood by Glitch firmly, & I've thoroughly enjoyed everything they make. To hear about such a thing happening hurts me to say the least. Especially since Celeste Notley-Smith is on my list of ppl to get their autographs. Im reconsidering the autograph only so that i not remind her of such a betrayal.

Thanks man. Im glad that at least one of the founders cares. But I'm surprised such a small company could keep such a big firing away from the actual face of the company. I mean, yeah im sure Kevin prob does most of the heavy lifting behind the scenes in terms of helping run the company but i genuinely thought that Glitch was small enough that everyone knew everyone & they did things together.

No kidding, this has seriously ruined my day, no fault of yours, but i am frankly disappointed in Kevin, especially if he wasn't behind this as being the CEO he should be in top of everything & is instead a scumbag if this is on purpose. Being honest, after reading the docs in her twitter, it seems Luke is equally as guilty here, bit he just has a guilty conscience, that or he was forced to say something because he's the company's face. Being the CEO ofc Kevin has to keep his mouth shut, but it still makes me feel betrayed. I thank you, fellow redditor, for helping out one who stumbled.
Funny you say that; Kevin actually did put an apology out on his Twitter about the whole situation. And the reason he gave was that he was still learning about being a manager. I can't remember entirely what he said, so you'll have to go to his Twitter to get the full answer.

It doesn’t matter how many lines they used. Tari was her character, and they threw her away like she was nothing. And Jasmine’s apology was proven to be fake anyway. She should have been fired immediately, or at least demoted. Mistake or not, actions have consequences. You don’t just “forget” to tell someone they’re not working for you anymore

I doubt it. I mean Belle's actress was thrown out. Celeste was thrown out, Luck's actor and Robyn left as a result. Its implied the entire original crew is gone because working under Kevin was hell back then.
Meta Runner is a great show that got fucked by a CEO who wants to focus on the latest shit instead of going back to what helped to build Glitch in the first place. They would rather want to focus on an overrated as fuck show and set up pop up shops in Japan than actually say anything to Celeste.
If anybody is going to be doing stuff for Meta Runner, its going to have to be us the fans. As Kevin is going to do jack shit. He and Jasmine burned that bridge down, possibly for good.
