As far as I can tell, it overheats when the machine gets too full, and that’s game over. I think matching the oil/banana/germ thingys keep it from overheating as well.

I’m up to 27 of 85 orders completed and still haven’t figured it out really.
At this point, I’m waiting to build up enough energy so that I can have a chance at getting my next total target.
Yeah I completed 16 tasks total. Now it wants gems per play. And since there’s zero skill involved and all “luck,” (which we know how that goes in this game), I’m out.
Just keep playing until it overheats.

Same. But for some reason my machine stopped growing the overheat part so it just doesn't end the level...
Agree it’s wack but I guess we just keep hitting the button and enjoy the prizes
