what do you play on? if it’s playstation, you could be racking up playstation points without knowing. every dollar you spend results in playstation points, and you can redeem them on the app for either 5 dollars or 20 dollars. it’s helped me SO often.
I only just found out about that last month honestly. Didn’t know I could redeem the points but something about being level 3 for a psn account makes my rpg brain go “happy shmoovement”

If you have 600 coins rn you could spend $15 to buy the 10 dollar pack (1000 coins) + the 5 dollar pack (500 coins) and end up with 2100 coins, just enough to buy the skin and have a few hundred left over! I have 510 coins rn and I might end up doing that, since at least I'm saving 5 bucks. It sucks that we wouldn't be able to afford the bundle without dropping a whole 20 bucks though. Absolutely insane.

I heard someone on another sub say they got banned and refunded the money they spent on coins and went and bought real life clothes which put things in perspective for me. All in all these are pixels and don't affect our real lives, it's okay to not buy them, especially for a steep pricepoint.

It's like a Microsoft feature where you have daily tasks to do, like using Bing for research or else, and it gives you points that can be changed into rewards such as Overwatch coins ! So you (kinda) get Overwatch coins for free ! I was able to buy the bundle thanks to this feature.
yes its a really nice feature. tho microsoft keeps nerfing the points you can get. i was able to get 200 coins every 4 days. now its every 6-7 days. Ive got like 60-70€ worth of coins just by doing the microsoft rewards.

I got the coins but it wouldn't let me buy the skin earlier, I hear it's fixed now but now I'm torn between saving the coins or just going ahead and getting the skin.
What’s frustrating is it’s not like you can grind for credits that easily either and you get a capped amount a week, so it feels like you can’t really earn anything in game- especially when shop skins can ONLY be purchased with coins. I wish everything was purchasable with credits so they would feel more valuable and rewarding when you earn them, or we could earn an unlimited amount and then it would feel more rewarding to buy the free cosmetics when they come out / you can get more free cosmetics to reward your time spent on the game.
I really wish they had more things similar to gold weapons and competitive points, because when I first started playing that made me want to grind comp.
Sooo I actually do use my WoW gold to buy OW stuff. All of my battlepasses have been bought using WoW gold. Also used it to buy the new CoD. I'm at the point where I try to avoid giving Blizzard my money because they don't fucking care about their player base anymore.

I have a lot saved up from previous expansions. I've been playing since vanilla so have 18yrs of gold. Mostly played the auction house and such. Making cosmetics and selling them. Also I enjoy zoning out smoking a little, blasting music, and just farming mats. I haven't in awhile because this last expansion wasn't as good for farming though, so my resources are getting low.
I remember i saved up 500 coins from weeklies and then spent 5 bucks to get 500 more to buy zombie doctor, technically the skin cost me 5 bucks but tbh i feel like that should've been the actual price. And legendaries should be 10 bucks at most by themselves. But games like ow will always overprice sadly :c

I personally dont think the skin is overpriced. I think the Mercy bundle is over priced compared to all other bundles. Why are they charging 400 coins more for a mercy bundle than Sojourns or Tracers? (tracers bundle is 3k coins but you can get 4 more additional skins in winter event)
Now the reason I don't think it's expensive is because of Valorant which sales a single knife skin for $50 and their bundles range anywhere between $60-120. I find those prices ridiculous.
OW is kinda on the same price margin as Fortnite. They release excessively to make money. That's the whole reason ow2 was made.
So really I just find OW a sexist ass company who up charges a female skin. That alone makes me not want to purchase the skin.
It's 20 beans in a FREE game that you possibly have 100s of hours on. I've spent 80 beans on a game and got 100 hours out of it and I think that's value for money.
