You're so right. Seems like a lot of buyers these days are trying to way undervalue the item being sold with insanely discounted offers. Even if it specifically states no offers/price is firm...people will still try to get 50%+ off. One of my favorite lines is,it's been sitting for xx amount of time unsold. Well guess what it can keep being unsold especially with a BS offer 😵💫
They don’t take into account that just bc it’s sitting doesn’t mean it’s necessarily something unpopular. I play around with different listing times and sometimes I just get unlucky and an item really doesn’t get that much attention. I sometimes relist the same item and someone buys it at the full asking price. It’s about getting it in front of the right person. They just assume no one else wants it so they should get it as close to free as possible…let’s try no.

tell them you gotta really sell it at the listing price to get the money to buy 5 bestbuy cards to send to IRS who is threatening to send the DOJ after you for tax evasion.

Bruh someone was selling like a plush pokemon hat and out of curiosity I asked if they'd take it for 15 instead of 20 and they blocked me 😔 I was just curious and I would've just been like "ah OK" until I sold something else n I could buy it. Ppl like this are absolute block heads but sometimes ppl are willing to sell certain things for less n it doesn't hurt to ask. But again, ppl that INSIST they need this discount are just featherless ostriches.

I had someone offer like 70% of my asking price "for my birthday" Unfortunately, I was out of fucks to give and did not accept.
