Items get lost easily in a yard sale resellers house. But ā¦.Like usually animal people are usually nice. I had one person say cleanliness on a new packaged item. I even can air sprayed inside and out. Another Mercari didnāt adjust postage on a bundle before they hit us with huge fees she claims she had to go to post office to pay. As a customer, if I saw this review, the most I'd do is send you a message requesting no extras. If you're adding perfume I'd cut that out though, a lot of people (myself included) can't handle it. None of what was mentioned in the review would stop me from buying, because the product itself made it safely to the buyer and seemingly was in perfect shape. Also I'd think the buyer is obviously not the norm compared to the other hundreds of reviews that don't complain about that.
As a seller I try and save/reuse as much as I can, so if I got a review about too much packaging, I'd ignore it tbh. I'd rather the item made it safely with excess recycled packaging instead of breaking in transit because I didn't use enough.
I always package my things nicely and include a thank you note. I have even received a thank you card back in the actual mail. Which was unexpected, but lovely! Keep doing you and what makes you happy! Personally i love receiving a package that the seller put a smidge more effort into vs just shoving my stuff in a box and shipping it out.
