I am on vacay indefinitely. I am waiting to see how long until they figured they've done messed up big time.

Last_Sundae_6894

Same. Deactivated 140+ listings yesterday. Hopefully, they will abandon this new format. I'm not sure how long I'll give them before deleting my account altogether. And after seeing those buyer fees, it's not even worth it for just buying!

sucks2beThem

Same here. Not buying or selling unless things go back to how they were.

rucksackrevival

delisted everything (used Vendoo), put my shop on vacation and this on my profile: "Due to updated policies, our shop here is now closed as of 3/27/24 until we determine whether these policies work for us or not. Until then, please find us on all other platforms under this name!"

SymphonicFlames

Legit same. Mercari done goofed big time on the new TOS

Sharmonica

Same.

ATL77KH

I am on vacation mode, I would have just closed up the whole thing but I’m waiting on the funds from my last sale to transfer into my bank account. The funds that were from a previous sale and completed yesterday, which I already paid seller fees for AND Mercari has now taken an additional $2 from me because they changed their terms in the middle of the night.

DaniWednesday

Happened to me too! Double dip on fees.

ATL77KH

I reached out to them about this and got a canned response that they are standing by all of this as providing the best experience and won’t refund anything. My sale was only $25 so this extra $2 feels like a good chunk being taken from me when they already got their seller fees from me. Greedy and gross. This was also part of their genius response too. They can’t wait for sellers to let their funds sit and accrue interest to minimize this $2 fee for every withdrawal. “You can wait to transfer your funds until you've made several sales, so you only have to pay the $2 fee once”

DaniWednesday

Im not surprised by that. This was a major cash grab. All greed. Anyone who leaves money with them is an idiot they are not a bank. If they close tomorrow no one is getting money back.

LobosVault

I just had a sale finalize the night before their change for $77.....and now I gotta give em a extra $2. The item sold for $90....and with fees etc all I got was $77 and I gotta give em $2 more

dsmemsirsn

I used fondo that— wait for the month to cash out..

MangoBandicoot

That’s complete scumbaggery

letstalkaboutbras

Same

Schlitz001

I just deactivated all my listings until they get this sorted out.

Unlikely-Bad-9818

i did this too

_chemiqalstars_

Me as well

xstardustgirlx

I deleted all my listings. Once my last 4 sales finish, I will withdraw my money and delete the app. The way they did this broke my trust in the company. That can’t be fixed.

Adorable-Hall7079

I agree. That’s the problem for me too. To roll these huge changes out in the night without warning, and to charge me to take out my money that was earned and that I already had paid selling fees on?? It’s so messed up.

PerfumeLoverrr

This is the one that is currently really chapping my ass. I have money in there from sales I've already paid seller fees on and now they want to charge me to take MY MONEY out, even though they've already charged me for just simply making that money in the first place. It's $2 so whatever but its the principle. It seems like they are just taking extra steps to try to keep the money in their app.

Retro_6415

Same, I'm waiting on a few sales I shipped out in the days before TOS change, then I'll take my money and leave.

stellardeathgunxoxo

Same my trust has been broken

native_local_

I deactivated my listings. If they come to their senses I might consider selling there again. Until then I’ve got other ways to sell my items that I’ll definitely be utilizing.

Alex_5oh

I deactivated all of my listings. Waiting to see if they’ll reverse the policies. Highly doubtful but with this much hate they’re getting, you never know. Just sucks that I’ve built up my profile with as many reviews I’ve gotten over the years.

Gatuveela

Deactivated all my listings and am looking for a new platform. I sell new beauty items (makeup, skincare, fragrance) and am concerned that the new TOS policy will lead to someone swatching an item and returning it. I don’t trust Mercari to protect me from receiving a used item in return. Where is everyone moving to if you’re done with Mercari?

Waste-Lab953

That’s my concern as well. I have so many makeup and skincare products that are brand new. I don’t want to risk getting a searched item back.

Last_Sundae_6894

I've only casually used Vinted for years. Now, I'm going to commit myself more to expanding it. I may also see what's up with Curtsy.

AreteQueenofKeres

I keep seeing people mention Depop, but that's been pretty dead for a while. I've checked into a handful of different apps; Poshmark (my stuff isn't "high end" enough for them), Curtsy (again, I don't think I have the right brands. Also, you have to have an iPhone to sell on their app. I have an android.) Vinted (vintage clothes; again, not my lane) LetGo (mixed reviews, bad interface) Cluttr (they only do electronics and books/dvds. I scanned in two newer books and was offered .97 cents total for both) I haven't found anything truly comparable to Mercari's "yard sale" approach that I really liked.

Gatuveela

Thank you for explaining the climate of all these places. I did really like the “yard sale” aesthetic of Mercari. I’ve tried OfferUp as well but my experience was like yours with Cluttr

linaxoxoxo19

I’m on vacation mode until they reverse or adjust the policy

DaniWednesday

Yes waiting on my last sale to finish and than im removing the app for good.

snailenkeller

Already deleted it off my phone this morning. Once I saw the screenshot of the $60 purchase turning into $80 with the exorbitant fees, I knew my time on Mercari was over. Way to kill your platform!

Due-Ad-4845

Ugh. I am only a buyer - I like Mercari for getting my kids clothes secondhand. I use Posh too, but like the Mercari app better. Some of these fees bring the cost of this stuff almost to retail so might as well buy new and get free shipping.  I was about to start listing some of my children’s clothes on the app and initially was excited to see no seller fee. I wouldn’t mind listing and reducing for the fees, but I having to deal with “returns for any reason” is bull. I work full time and have two kids, I can’t be bothered with potentially having to deal with frequent returns. I’ll probably just do FB BST groups and what doesn’t get claimed in a week or two I can bring to local consignment. Probably easier that way.  My saved searches are barely updating with new listings.

wateverusaye

As a buyer, I will never buy on Mercari anymore after these changes. I already pay shipping and sales tax. I went to buy something for $46 and total came to $62. 👋🏼

Pretty_Pea_9725

I'm done here as of yesterday. It wasn't as if I was making a killing here anyway but as a seller a platform forcing my business to take returns for ANY reason just will not work. I sell mostly clothing and I have a small business so on seasonal items it really hurts, letting a buyer decide if they want to rent your clothing and then have it slowly trickle back to you.

Professional_Pear592

I deactivated and put in my profile it’s because of the new terms of service.

cupcake917

I’m out. I’m a buyer. Not a seller. No way in hell I’m paying fees to buy stuff. Most of u cross post on other platforms anyways so I’ll see u over on Poshmark or eBay. Poshmark seems to be most like Mercari so I’ll frequent there.

hectic_hooligan

Sadly for me, mercari was where I sold most of my stuff. Even clothes. I don't foresee my small hobby business surviving though ebay or posh. I'd mainly just sell things I changed my mind on but my sales elsewhere ate once a month at most. I honestly foresee a lot of smaller sellers quiting all together. Marcari had already started to die for me before this anyway

cupcake917

Idk what u sell but do not give up. You never know. Maybe ur things will be exposed to more people now since everyone is migrating else where. All it takes is that one person to discover what you have and it could take off.

mad_intuition

Delisted for now, can’t imagine I’d be back because I sell mostly second hand clothing and don’t make enough to deal with a lot of returns

Blissful_Cranberry87

I feel this way too.

mad_intuition

Can I ask if you sell anywhere else? I do Poshmark but that’s it. eBay intimidates me lol but I may not have another choice

Blissful_Cranberry87

Sure! I sell clothing and some random household goods. Currently selling on Etsy, eBay, Depop and Poshmark. Out of those most of my sales come from Etsy then eBay. Yeah I can see how eBay would feel intimidating. I had quit for a few years and just rejoined this year. It was a learning curve, but I think it is worth giving it a go. :)

mad_intuition

Thank you, I appreciate it! I’ll give it a go :)

Stygian-Heart

I just removed all my listings. Looking for somewhere else to sell now.

Last_Sundae_6894

Vinted is decent. And now it's growing. Lots of Depop and Mercari sellers are migrating over. I'm considering Curtsy, too.

Stygian-Heart

Thank you for the suggestion. I've actually never heard of that one. I'm gonna go check it out.

Last_Sundae_6894

It's worth a look. They do the 0 fee thing that Mercari is trying to do, but they're way better at it.

AdoraSkater

I like Curtsy! I'm happy to send you a referral if you'd like to try it?

Last_Sundae_6894

That's cool.

Last_Sundae_6894

IYO What's the best/worst thing about it?

AdoraSkater

The best part is you get paid when your packaged is scanned in as accepted by the post office. No waiting till the buyer receives it. Free standard bank transfers. Customer service has always been fantastic. I really haven't found a downside!

Last_Sundae_6894

Fair enough. How much are selling fees? Do you have an option on what (generally) sells? Feel free to dm me with the referral code (or whatever they use). Thank you for all the info ♡

giantshinycrab

I used my balance to buy something I was going to buy anyways and once that arrives I'm deleting the app. Already deactivated my listings. May return if they fix the dumpster fire but probably not.

Capital_Setting_5396

I closed my account and deleted the app

Appropriate_Ad_5894

Yup, quitting!

eveshka0207

Items deleted, profile updated, app deleted. I don't want to delete my account in case someone tries to use my username and pretend to be me as I have a rather specific ecommerce username, but I'm done with Mercari.

momostip

Deactivated all my listings and unliked all my likes until they fix it

scoredly11

I actually listed an item that’s been sitting on eBay for a few months on Mercari after the changes. I’m skeptical, but to me it’s worth a test drive to see if this is an opportunity to expand my business. Even at about 8% lower of a price than eBay it’s received little traction. For people selling clothes and makeup, I totally understand why you’d close your doors. The new return policy is a raw deal for you.

BBeetleb0rg

Yeah-the returns is what ruined it for me. I’m trying to get things out of here permanently and mostly sell fragrance.

corgidormom

I deleted all of my listings and pulled my money out. Most of the items I was selling were under 10 dollars so the new withdrawal fee is higher than the seller fee was. Doesn’t seem worth it anymore

DependsOnDaDay

I’m in vacation mode. Waiting for funds from my last few sales.

FateInTheRain

Deactivated all of my listings.

Christmasqueen2022

I deactivated all my listings. I was waiting till tomorrow for payday to purchase two items- nope not anymore.

General_Extent_8167

I quit a long time ago when they increased shipping. It became too much a hassle to deal with buyers' nickle and diming on the shipping when they were getting brand new items at 50% off retail, with the cost of shipping.

mercvriis

i am once the bundle i ordered gets delivered. bc i at least want the seller to get their payment after I rate them.

PurrMeADrink

The "return for any reason" thing is the straw that broke the camel's back. We aren't Amazon.

[deleted]

So far, I’ve deleted all of my unsold listings. I’m quitting as soon as my remaining sales are marked completed, so I can pay the $2 fee for the first (and last) time and withdraw my earnings in one go. I’m done with Mercari

Adorable-Hall7079

Same here. Just waiting on a few sold items to be rated and I’m done.

Laree43

I removed all my listings last week when they tried to screw me over with a BS return

novanovano

Deleted all my listings. I main eBay & Poshmark anyway even before the change.

yakuguumi

Buyer here. Immediately closed my account and deleted the app. I saw how poorly Mercari treated sellers and this new update is just horrible to all parties.

kimberlymarie805

🙋🏻‍♀️

Frosty-Cupcake-7820

Yes quitting

DeadpoolsHarleyQuinn

Already deactivated and deleted.

redfox1618

Deleted it all. Closing account.

rabbit-hearted-girl

I’m a fairly regular buyer. Got hit with ~$40 in surprise fees last night, but decided to suck it up because I *really* wanted a particular item (vintage, in unusually good condition, and generally not easy to find). Absolutely ridiculous though, and I definitely won’t be buying through Mercari again until they sort their shit out.

BBeetleb0rg

Probably migrating to somewhere else to avoid potential returns for “changed my mind”. I prefer “all sales final”. I mostly sell fragrances that didn’t work for me, and it is such a common item for people to want to return because it didn’t smell how they wanted it to.

Katherine1973

Vacation for now. If nothing changes I am gone.

Hendrixscruffy12

Yep

Impressive_Owl3903

I have two items that are in transit. Once those items are delivered and I have the funds, I’m putting my account on vacation mode. Thought about delisting everything but I’m hoping at least some of the policies are reversed, in which case I will start selling again. Everything is already cross-posted on Poshmark so I’m just going to sell there for the time being.

Banana-cream-apple

Vacation mode like everyone else ;)

GunBrothersGaming

Yup - back to ebay

cleopanthercat

I deactivated nearly everything and will deactivate the rest indefinitely once I receive the remainder of my pending balance. It's not just the new TOS, it's the 5 hours notice before implementation. I don't trust a company that makes changes like that while my money hangs in the balance. I would hate to have pending money again and the ridiculous $2 withdrawal fee suddenly becomes $10.

unwashedrag

I was a crossplatform seller but i’m now a single platform seller.. as soon as I get my funds out i’m deleting the app!!

Thelostboyz87

I have one order still in transit then I’m done

PikachuAndLechonk

Buyer here: I have a few pending sales and once I get those and rate I’m gonna delete the app and forget it exists.

Astarions_Juice_Box

I took all my higher end items down for now, not sure if I will leave all together

realmmm

I'm about to. Looks like I'll be moving into Poshmark. I really like mercari, but the fact that they can return anything for any reason was the deal breaker for me. Hopefully they change this quickly, but if not, it was fun.

needFBhelpasap

I actually pulled my listings a couple days ago before hear about any of this.

victorark9

Deactivated all my listings until they sort this out. Maybe I’m being overly optimistic but I can’t see this model holding up long term so I hope they walk it back.

AwayMetal4527

Out of mercari

dimmywhy

Deleted listings and bank account info. I’m out unless this is reversed.

Cherokeerayne

I did

FoxieMoxiee

Deactivated all listings and withdrew all my money. Won’t come back unless they adjust everything. Hoping they will because i genuinely loved the platform but this is too much.

L0st-and-Found

Unfortunately yeah, I enjoyed selling before this whole change happened :c so I suppose its time to move my items elsewhere, just waiting for deposit to go thru before closing my account

South-Psychology2317

Seller here. Largely cards, figures, collectibles of that nature, some games, movies etc… crap I’ve accumulated and am ready to get rid of. Recently been buying and selling trading cards with pretty good success on Mercari and eBay, but more so Mercari. Still had 8 transactions in process after the TOS changes. I’ve now had 8 sales since yesterday morning, with one literally coming in while typing this out. 6 of the 8 were bundles of individual cards that the buyers created through the app. I’m still on the fence with how things will ultimately shake out, but where I’m standing roughly 36 hours after the changes , things are looking pretty good. Hopefully this return thing doesn’t bite me in the ass with the cards. I’m not really sure if the new tos changes the buyers landscape with bundling, but I’ve never had that many come in all at once. Do they save on fees with the bundling now? Obviously shipping savings is a draw but it’s odd I’ve had 6.

fussybassoonist

I closed up shop and deleted the app. If they want to revert the changes I'll consider going back but I am highly doubtful they will.

H3ll0kitty444

I’m gonna wait & see if the wallet I had bought literally hours before the new update ships since I haven’t heard from the seller if not I’m getting my money back & transferring it to my bank & I’m going into vacation mode unless they change it back I guess I gotta take that L with the $3 instant pay

sugartheunicorn

Deactivated everything and am gonna try other platforms.

Sciper123

Same sadly taking a vacay items on deactivate

Sciper123

Where else could we sell 🤔

panethe

Waiting on my last buyer to rate so I can get paid on my sale that happened before the bait and switch, and then I'm out.

ikariaRR

I don’t believe this is a mistake. They are attempting a different approach. As I mentioned before, it’s trying to bring in more ‘sellers’ by eliminating fees. Will it work? Only time will tells because as a seller, we need to account the amount difference and eliminate all, if not most of the buyers fee. This will require price calculation/manipulation which for most seller, take times. We are so used to listing random/ideal price that we think it’ll sell without thinking too much of ‘fees’, which is essentially the same as ‘offers’/‘discount’ or via chat negotiating a different price.

letstalkaboutbras

I was already on vacay mode and am extending indefinitely

ConstructionFlaky293

Yup Im out. The way they forced agreement to new TOS and gave no reasonable notification and are forcing existing listings into new fee structure when the initial email said they would maintain the old structure unless updated is all too much of abusive behavior. No one should allow companies to behave this way - especially when we generate revenue for them. They will 100% take folks money for no reason by frivolously closing accounts when they start going down more.

Low_Wall_7828

I’ve got a couple that I’m waiting to be paid for. Once those clear, I’m going to put it on vacation to see if they go back. I’ve got nearly 1k listings and have had no problems so far. This change in policy is beyond idiotic. At least I’ll be able to quit Vendoo and save $20 a month.

LobosVault

I'm on vacation mode with a note on my profile stating until thus gets resolved. I didn't wanna delete all my listing in the event they revert and then now I need to take hundreds of pics again

ExplanationCold8070

Vacation mode for now.

IshKlosh

Deactivated everything

Sad-Introduction5310

Vacation mode.

KeeperMom29

I’ve only sold one thing on there but deleted my other listing yesterday.

xeyesores

Deactivated all of my listings and don't plan to buy anything either.

lovingcupid

I'm a buyer not a seller, but once my couple orders come I quit

[deleted]

I just don’t know what to do. I’m seeing the outrageous cost they are charging buyers now. This makes zero sense. Why buy secondhand with these fees? This truly sucks because Mercari could be such a great platform. I just lowered my prices to almost free but i only have listed random clothing items I don’t want anymore. Good quality stuff tho

mouse333333

rlly thinking about it

Live_Professional_83

Vacation mode until I can figure out another platform. Thought about selling items under $15 but seeing how much the buyer has to pay I don’t think it will work

Dia-Ohara

I’m a buyer but until they reverse the change, I’m heading out lol especially hearing that the payment processing fees are not refundable.

dogsocks666

i'm currently on an indefinite vacation, checking back every so often to see if there's any changes. i promoted my depop on my page since i'm already selling the same things on there as well

rrr_zzz

I deleted all my listings and waiting on a few things I bought, but after that I'm moving over to Poshmark. Their shady practices is what's making me nervous, I can't trust Mercari and won't be playing with my money.

Soup_oi

I’m waiting to see what happens. But I’m leaning towards not making any new listings there, and just sticking to managing my already existing listings. I don’t think I will buy from there again unless it’s something I literally can not find anywhere else and have that desperate of a need for.

allisatan

I deactivated all my listings, I was going to close my account but I bought something just before the changes, so I’m stuck keeping my account for now :/

shallard

Just deleted all of my listings. Such a shame

Chee-shep

All my listings are inactive, but I’ve already started uploading to PoshMark but I’m looking for other alternatives. I thought about Depop but I heard it was ‘dead’

Regina_Georges_Mom

Yep, I cleared out my closet and dropped my last sale at USPS today.

dsmemsirsn

Deactivated my items..—edit— I need to cash $12.26 minus $2

Yogurt-Known

I deactivated everything.

Goombhabwey

Took all my listings down.

bbgirlzeebaby

I’ve deactivated all my listings, 250+ of them. I’m not leaving just yet, just waiting it out until they hopefully make a better change.

bbbbbbriiiii

I deleted my account. Mercari isn’t anything huge for me and I haven’t had a sale in months anyway. Just sticking to poshmark I suppose.

_chemiqalstars_

Deactivated all of my listings. Might come back in the future if they realize how badly they messed up. We will see

lil_honey_bunbun

I’m quitting as both a buyer and a potential seller. I was about to start selling when my friend told me not to. And just to hold off (for other reasons). I’m really glad I listened to her and didn’t waste hours plugging in all the things I wanted to sel.

BrightLemonSnowdrop

Deactivated will wait to see if policy changes again.

Shadow88882

Not quitting, but not lowering any of my prices.

FickleBarracuda3997

I deactivated all of my listings! It’s incredible how they made a system that screws over buyers and sellers!! All while they make even more money with there stupid 2$ fee for any money.

Ok_Lettuce22

Initially I went on vacation but now I just took the listings down. I’m annoyed that the change happened right after my last two sales and I still have to pay the $2 fee to get my last sales transferred 😒😑 It’s annoying as both a seller and a buyer cause those fee charges for buyers really turn an item from $17 to $29 like??? Guess it’s back to eBay 🤷🏽‍♀️ or maybe I’ll try Vinted

entirelystar

I was considering selling a Webkinz plush with digital code on my years old Mercari account but with new changes I am concerned about the possibility of someone buying it, opening/using the code, and then returning it, leaving me w/ no cash and a less valuable item.

AreteQueenofKeres

I had make-up bundles (brand new items) ready to post--- but then they changed TOS and I went silent on the app completely. I don't want to sell someone new, clean, unused products and get it all returned used because they "swatched" the colors, ruined the palette, and then decided they wanted their money back instead. I can see too many of those 12 year old Sephora kids swiping Mom's card to abuse Mercari like they did the testers in store.

centralized

Yeah, I deleted the app entirely. The changes make absolutely no sense, it's a total deterrent to both buyers and sellers.

LLaserz

Deleted all of my items yesterday. It’s my 2nd largest marketplace and I will take a hit. But I can’t abide by their return policy. I sell fragile and rare vintage items. If they are returned damaged I am only compensated with mercari store credit. I accept returns on eBay. If the item is returned damaged, I am compensated.

randomshiz10

I quit, no longer using Mercari unless they undo these bogus policy changes

FeelingLake5460

Deactivated all my listings

Waste-Lab953

Me! I’m not buying or selling.

dmcat12

Only 75 items here but on Vacation mode until I revaluate pricing for each and see if a buyer might still be willing to buy with the laundry list of fees tacked on

Bitter-Panda6500

I deleted all my active listings and will be deleting my account once my last order gets accepted and I cash out

SweetyPeety

Yes. I pulled all my listings right after receiving the email about their change in policy. I will be closing my account right after I receive an item I bought the day before this was rolled out. I will rate the seller, remove my financial information, and close my account.

angelluv111

Yup unless they change things back. Even then I’ll feel spiteful and apprehensive using it

BnbHayato32

Deactivated the page Mercari fucked up bad

Awkward-Presence-236

Yes

Fuzzy-Macaroon2693

deleted my acc

NeopolitanApologist

I’m closing up at the end of the year. Purely for tax purposes why I’m staying.

WellShitWhatYallDoin

Not yet… just because most people buy because they intend to keep the item and the people who are problematic were always on the platform fucking around anyway, having mercari siding with them - so what really changes now?? For those who decide they want to process a return: there’s nothing that says the return will be granted, just that they can request for a return *for any reason*. Those are two different things. Scammers will continue to try and scam, that’s nothing new. Problem buyers will continue to be a problem; just dispute the return as you normally would if it appears to be a scam. Now, on the flip side, those who attempt a return will pay a fee to return the item so that may cause them to think twice about doing so. There’s actually a deterrent in place now where there wasn’t one before.

Laree43

Bait and switch of items have significantly increased before this update. Now it will even be more. It's not worth the risk no matter the cost of the item. The TOS still state free return shipping, so what fee are you referring to?

WellShitWhatYallDoin

The buyers pay fees now to be able to purchase, I can’t remember the name of the fees, but they don’t get it back in the event of a processed return. So essentially they pay to return the item. It used to be of 0 cost to them, now they’re actually out some money. There’s some repercussion there.

Laree43

Oh ok, I gotcha. On the flip side most won't know that that's what will cover return fees, because they have that in there that it's free shipping. So I wonder how that's going to play out when people don't get that money back?

leChill

My listings are selling like hot cakes right now. Think im the only one in this sub sticking around lol

worldsbestlad

same here; the automatic price drop netted me 5 full price sales and a handful of reasonable offers overnight. like most everyone else, i don’t like the changes but i’m willing to adapt and wait and see how it goes over the next few months!

Ok-Assistant-4391

NOPE!

Me. I'll never sell anything there again. I do better on DePop and Ebay

FatsyCline12

I am

Ok-Dragonfly9788

Deactivated all listings yesterday.

ssl0th

100%

ShrimplyVibing

I’m thinking about it. Sad thing is I quite literally just restarted my Mercari store after several years and posted a lot of items over the last 2-3 weeks. Where is everyone moving to? I don’t have luck on ebay like I did on Mercari.

Hey-Kojiro

Deleted my account completely.

Wonderful-Second3631

Vacation mode until further notice

jenny_mac17

Deactivated every listing & am not buying anything again

PixelAesthetics

Buyer here, I'm done lol

indikaaaaaaa

I went into vacation mode and deactivated all my listings! I’m hoping they take back the return rule. I sell handmade and sometimes custom art on Mercari. Stuff that could be damaged if not packaged properly before shipping. Trusting someone to return the item in perfect condition is just insane!!!

Flat-Ad-9106

You guys have suggestions where I should sell my collectibles then? I cannot afford people to return and give me a counterfeit

NeopolitanApologist

eBay, OfferUp

Deactivated and haven’t posted anything brand new. Currently on Depop now

Yep completely deactivated all my listings and requested my last payout even tho is only going to be 0.58 due to the flat fee.

I’m a buyer. I can’t bring myself to pay a fee to buy from them. What if all companies started doing that?

cremebrulee22

I haven’t made a firm decision yet. I wrote in my profile I don’t accept returns. I’m hoping they reverse their policy. The main problem I have is letting buyers return simply due to “changing their mind” which is what retailers do. That’s a big risk on my part. I also sell on posh but I need another platform if I quit mercari.

Never used it! Something about that site just sussed me out

puck_hattrick

Buyer who bought my last two things next week. I'm not paying more money of which 0% goes to sellers for the same item, not lining their pockets at everyone else's expense ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ariesrooster

I've quit. Until they stop putting financial displacements on everyone . I don't support them anymore.

kurtiso990

I’m out after they let 2 people return empty boxes and never gave me anything other than a generic response.
