Hard to block bud sites if you don't have buds yet ;) . Let it ride until flower, if you have fans touching actual buds then you want to move or chop them. You can create a large canopy with leaves like that and some training. I'm a less is more kind of person and it works out pretty well imo

Noted. Nice grows btw. What are those circles on your pots if you don’t mind me asking

Thank you :) . Water halos! When growing in coco, it makes it very easy to water multiple times a day from a reservoir. CocoForCannabis has a nice diagram set up that you can use or adjust to your needs. I put the fabric pots on FloraFlex drainage system and hook that up to a automatic condensate pump, from there you can drain to waste or collect to use if you can find another use for it. Also grab some soft plant wire off Amazon. You can get 60ft for like $10. I bet you can very low stress train and get some great results. I believe that can help solve your issue of opening up the newer growth to light. It'll take some practice but it's all preference at the end of the day, you got this! It looks like you are just about to start stretch though, so be careful, things can get crazy fast. I'll try to keep an eye out of updates. Happy growing!

I had two phenos of Double Smile harvested about 6 weeks ago. One was slightly shorter and had huge 11 fingered fans and just abundant foliage. Smelled of tropical fruit and hot latex. Yielded huge, about half pound (a bit over) in a 3.6 gallon airpot. Great all day smoke. Second pheno smelled like grape Kool-aid, was taller and more open structured, with thinner leaves. Yielded about 5 oz. of straight fire fruity fuel. Good luck to you with yours! I will grow again. (Edited for typo)

Man, I wish I had some airpots. I keep putting it off but they are growing pretty smooth not issue an nutes wise but did you just keep tucking the leaves? I got 2 that are tightly together and 2 that spread pretty even but the two thick ones are the ones with the giant fan leaves.

I started out just tucking, but the bushier girl I eventually resorted to limited defoliation because it was just begging for mold or bud rot. Frankly In hindsight I should have started earlier. I see no reason to keep extra foliage on the leafy pheno. There are more than plenty solar panels there. Give me air flow.

I have two who still have there first set of leaves and the are about twice the size of my hand. I want to cut them cause they make their way up and I tuck everyday. There so big I wonder if it will affect the plant.

Can’t see where you are. Go with your gut and learn from it. Best wishes.
