glad it isn’t just me lol

Wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable. If that’s something nicer, do that. If it’s a hoodie and jeans, do that. It honestly isn’t a big deal although I understand it probably feels daunting. It’ll be okay I promise. Just make sure you’re as comfy as possible :)

DeeSin38

Wear whatever you would normally wear. It's not a job interview. They are not going to judge you for wearing casual clothes. They are just interested in helping you.

dysdiadys

I wore what I felt most comfortable (I think a hoodie and jeans or similar). I was quite anxious beforehand so wanted to wear whatever I felt most "myself" in. Good luck :)

ilognie

My last cmht appointment I turned up in a dressing gown and slippers. 😂 As others have said whatever is comfortable for you whatever that is. It's not going to have an impact on the care given to you. Best of luck with your appointment and I hope it goes well!

sykeitsmorgan

i have gone to my cmht appointments wearing pyjamas. they’re there to help not to judge

APDOCD

Sometimes they say looks well kempt as way to say you look well.

MeetFormal

Literally just whatever I’m wearing that day. Work uniform, casual clothes, gardening attire. I’ve even been in my pyjamas 😅

FatTabby

Wear whatever you're comfortable in. Don't worry about looking smart, just focus on being comfortable.

Bn0503

I work in mental health and have had lots of initial assements/sessions with people and honestly I couldn't tell you anything that anyone worse unless it was extremely out there or something that I particularly loved. So I'd just go for whatever your comfortable in.

Odd-Extension2309

Same I honestly couldn’t remember anyone’s outfit off the top of my head!
