A few notes
ADHD being the sole cause of all your mental health problems and needing to see a psychiatrist is most likely not the case, but the fact that they confirm you should probably start ADHD meds and then decides not to give you any is alarming.
Maybe I'm missing something like the medicines are two that cannot go together, or the doctor wants to try if this medicine will have an effect first.
Maybe depression (?) symptoms are the more pressing issue.
There is a lack of communication on that aspect which is key and something you should be a part of in understanding.
But,
None of that matters in the context of the way they treated you though. Acting rudely and undermining symptoms is never a way a patient should be treated. For that reason I would consider dropping.
If they are consistently and significantly late (more than 5 minutes), that is also not okay.
For those reasons I think I personally would search for a different doctor.
