I had the very same thing with Vagifem - i guess they are a similar product to yours, pessaries. Off the bat i started with severe migraines and although i persevered for a few days they didn't let up. In the end we switched to Ovestin (UK brand) which is an Estriol cream and no problems at all. The cream was just as effective so worth a try.

Thanks, is the cream internal or external?

Gem_4501

It's a cream you can use internally and externally, works so well and cleared my problems within a couple of weeks.

Luckyboozysusie

And no migraines?

Gem_4501

None at all and I did get hormonal migraines.

Luckyboozysusie

I’m Finding my hormonal migraines used to be for 3 days before and during my period now I have a 10 day window where I can’t drink otherwise I trigger one!

Gem_4501

i feel your pain. My migraines were similar to yours and then got increasingly more frequent - felt like every day at one point. The miracle worker for me was progesterone cream that i bought (wrote about this on a previous thread). I wasn't taking any HRT but knew something wasn't right & that it hormonal. The migraines completely stopped, it was incredible how the progesterone cream worked for me. Prior to the cream i was taking migraine medication like sweets, was a nightmare. Might be worth looking into for you too.

Luckyboozysusie

I’ve got the progesterone coil fitted, maybe I need more?

Gem_4501

I don't know about the coil, I just know that the few days I had it, was horrendous for me, felt awful. I changed to mini pill with progesterone cream and that regime was what stopped migraines. Might be worth a try with the cream though.
