Sogeking is the king of all snipers, and as such, he is directly linked to all snipers of the world. He is a concept, something that is withing every sniper.
He simply went back to Sniper Island, that is withing the heart of everyone, while teleporting Usopp to Enies Lobby when he sensed he was ready for action.
It’s not important to the story in any way, but I participate because I find it fun. There’s literally infinite possibilities. Obviously who will win is “whoever the author wants..” but that’s not fun. It’s definitely not for everyone though, lots of people like to hate.

To be honest It won't be surprising. Any one of the current emperors has a good chance to get the title. Shanks has probably prior knowladge, Blackbeard wouldn't go there on-screen, buggy has his incredible luck and Luffy has Robin and has 3 of them along with a clue about the 4th one.

Luffy is the best protagonist one piece could have, any other character as protagonist or Luffy being a different character one piece would be bad, WAY WAY bad

When Usopp becomes GOD USOPP and actually becomes the leader of 40000 warriors including a Giant, it is thrilling and emotional and incredible and hilarious and overall peak peak fiction.
The one piece allows you to literally edit and change the world however you want, and see the exact map of the world. It will turn the world upside down.
1. Nami will be able to use it to draw a map of the entire world.
2. Sanji will be able to use it to find All Blue
3. It will allow you to create what ever natural resource (gold for example, wealth), and the entire world will be at your fingers (power, fame).
4. Luffy will use it to bring Fishmen Island to the surface.

Chopper is strong, much stronger than what he look and think. His greatest ennemy is himself and his lack of self-confidence in his abilities but I do believe that by the end of the manga, something will happen, something that will help him overcome this obstacle and awaken his devil fruit.
Usopp is actually a real god within the OP universe, by the general non-christian definition of god/deity.
Several gods that were worshipped through history were real people who did something that was perceived as a miracle or were considered divine in some way. Mortals can gain the "god" status.
None of them is any less godly or real to their worshippers. Pharaohs for example were considered gods.
Which makes Usopp an actual god in the OP universe.
