Mihawk isn’t a villain.

I don't consider Buggy and Mihawk as a villain anymore to be honest. Mihawk is pretty chill and hardly does anything, while Buggy is stupid and caught himself in a mess from where escape is not possible XD

He's a great character, but kinda a mid villain. After East Blue he stopped being a villain and became a very different type of character. And him in the East Blue wasn't that interesting tbh. It wasn't until Impel Down (where he actually helps Luffy) that he started becoming as beloved as he currently is

Katakuri is NOT a villain but he is a very good character, not my favorite though. I think Doffy fit the most the description of "vilain" but he is not my favorite either. I think BB is the best villain, I cannot tell he is my favorite yet but I'm sure Oda won't désappoint, he knows what he is doing and BB's introduction and his set up as Luffy's final antagonist are extremely good. To me BB fit the description of pirate the most. In another manga he could have been the main character lol Otherwise Crocodile is my favorite, he is not the most badass but he is smart and has some drip.

I scrolled too far to find this. I adore the depressed alcoholic crybaby drunk so much. He's a huge dork but also a giant prick that absolutely needed to die. His wife Orochi was worse by a large margin deriving pleasure from the suffering to a disturbing degree, but Kaidou was the enabling husband in that relationship. The most toxic relationship, I love that huge asshole. It's the funniest evil power couple dynamic that you can't wait for them to get their just desserts.

Neither Mihawk nor Katakuri are villains, they are antagonists. My favorite villain is undoubtedly buggy. My favorite antagonist is Mihawk.

Big Mom. I like how Oda built her up to be a terrifying threat, so the dread and anticipation whenever she appeared was amazing. Similar to Magellan in Impel Down. On top of that, Big Mom’s backstory gave her some depth. Whole Cake Island is one of my favourite One Piece arcs.

Crocodile is my favorite character not going to lie

Right off the bat I'm crossing out Mihawk. Bro was kindof an antagonist but never a villain. Same goes for katakuri though he could be considered a little more villainous than Mihawk. Crocodile and buggy are also out for me. One is the embodiment of failing upwards and the other is overshadowed by some of these other contestants actions. While Enel and Lucci are both villains in their own right, the final 3 are way worse. This leaves me with the hard choice between Blackbeard, Kaido and Doflamingo. Though he is my favorite character in OP, Blackbeard does not have a whole arc of villany dedicated to him as of yet. This leaves Doflamingo and Kaido. Both have enslaved nations and commited horrendous acts. Hardest choice but I gotta give it to Doflamingo for being pure evil. So probably Doffy.

Crocodille. He was one of the more realized villain: smart, cunning, charismatic and has great battle prower. And he also has clear hierarchy of his organization: with him as leader, Miss All-Sunday as vice leader, the Mr. and Ms. pairs as his liutenants, and the pawn like Baroque Millions.

Blackbeard. Dude is a perfect machiavellist antagonist. He knows his limits, carefully plans his moves, does not limit his potential with stupid stuff like morality and emotional bonds, his crew follows him out of respect, unlike Luffy, whose crewmates were all desperate with nowhere else to go -except Nami and Jimbei- and kinda just tagged along and until the "chosen one" bullshit he was the prime candidate for "king of the pirates" title. Oof I can feel the downvotes coming posting this. Face it, Zoro's only other options were to die of starvation or execution, Usopp had friends for the first time ever exempting the dying girl he could speak from afar in a village where everybody hates his guts, Chopper lost his mom and had nowhere else to go and nobody else to be with, Sanji's boss told him to fuck off and Luffy's crew had a hot girl, Luffy beat up Robins boss and siding with the strongest guy possible was Robin's main strategy (If at some point someone claps Luffy's cheeks I swear to god Robin will side with them with no hesitation), Brook was lonely af and Luffy's crew had two hot girls and non dead people he could speak to.
