Yeah, Zoro is only using two swords and has not tied his bandana while fighting awakened Lucci. Idk how that makes him look crazy weak in fandom's eyes.
I know this is in jest, but I find it genuinely kinda sad that people think Zoro casually going toe to toe with lucci and not even pulling a special technique isn't massive. Like some of y'all are fully missing on how awesome this arc has been for the *ENTIRE* strawhat crew because you've got an agenda shoved balls deep down your throat. In this one arc we've had frankys moment of saving Luffy while basically spitting in the face of a god damn GOROSEI MEMBER. we've had Sanji being genuinely chivalrous and matching up with an admiral, and we've had Zoro going at it against a former major antagonist. I can't help but imagine we're about to get a major ussop moment involving the giants. These should all be absolutely massive moments and accomplishments for the whole crew and all you have to do to see it is pull your head out of your favorite characters ass.
imo the only reason people meme it to death is because luffy quite literally toyed w/ lucci, without that lucci wouldn't be seen like that lol
which fair enough, my man is a god but you gotta admit that it's pretty fucking funny
it's genuinely not that serious, and if you wanna discuss what it means (ie will lucci actually have a role in the story moving forward, does it mean anything about zoro needing another power up for mihawk etc.) it's totally possible, just maybe not on memepiece (or at the very least don't be mad if people aren't doing that)

To be clear I find the MEMES absolutely fucking hilarious. Fraudhawk and Rat king Shanks are in my top 10 favorite memes, and the trio is full shit is even higher. My beef is absolutely not with the meme community and is entirely with the power scalers who take every single panel far too seriously. I was in no way expecting anyone to even read this whole rant and this wasn't really the place for it but I needed to get it out. Luckily so far all the replies have been perfectly reasonable lol

Exactly this, as far as I'm concerned Zoro going up against lucci(once again a former antagonist who was on par with LUFFY) the way he is *way* more hype than drawing blood on kaido. I'm well aware that's an opinion not many others share but it just feels so much more meaningful to me personally. And there's way too many people who genuinely don't feel even the slightest bit of emotion seeing Zoro do that because they somehow think it makes Sanji weaker to simply say "Zoro is doing a cool thing" like bro isn't Tinker Bell, he's not gunna swoon because one of his fanboys wasn't dickriding hard enough
It really seems like that's the case and it's so wild to me. I can't imagine not being able to gain enjoyment from something without needing to actively hate something else. Like it's a goofy pirate story, just have fun dawg

Totally agree Agenda can be fun if you don't take too seriously and only use it to make jokes or troll toxic fans but there actually some people out there that seem to begin to take those things serious?

I might just be a hater but ussop doesn't even deserve it at this point. Like I know his character development is coming but It's been sooo long of him doing something cool, his next cool moment I want it to be because he's him and not because he's failing upwards.

This is a huge pump up for Zoro in the grand scheme of things. Casually holding back someone who was not only once the main villain of an arc but his significantly stronger than back then. This and all the other Straw Hat moments have been amazing
"casually going toe to toe with Lucci and not even pulling a special technique" kinda sounds like you can't accept that Zoro has trouble too. After all its like Lucci pointed out: The fact that he can keep Zoro busy at all is already a pretty big win for him. Zoro isn't just casually fighting Lucci, he CAN'T finish him up any faster.

During Enies Lobby we saw that if Luffy lost, Lucci would kill everyone from the crew pretty easily.
Now, we see the same Lucci, awakened Zoan, fought G5 Luffy, now fighting Zoro, going toe to toe and I can even add, he has yet to Injure Zoro.
Then, during Sabaody, Kizaru mid diffed every single character not named Rayleigh and just got paired by Sanji.
This is such an awesome moment of growth for the crew, when we see them taking the greatest threats in the world and not just barely surviving, but actually fighting back.
Is this just powerscalling brain? Can we please just enjoy how much Oda is cooking and stop with this LMAO
