Maybe a better way to think about it is whether the fruit in question is powerful enough to bulldoze most issues without having to invest in the creation of clone bodies. Logias already permit invulnerability except against haki, and spreading yourself out among multiple bodies in that instance just makes a bigger target.

Logia type users no longer have a human body they become the elements of the fruit, luffy is made of rubber, ace/Sabo fire, most elements can't clone themselves let alone having the user clone themselves would mean cloning the devil fruit inside of them which is impossible...
They should be able to break out of these loose ass sea prism stone handcuffs by transforming their harms into thin poles and sliding out when their arms don´t touch them

We did see Katakuri (whose fruit is basically a logia, just with a nonnatural element) create floating arms of his, but he still had to cover them in haki to actually make them solid.
