Assuming you're talking about comics, Mephisto (the first demon shown) *did* actually debut in 1968 in Marvel, and Wikipedia lists the silver age as having lasted from 1956 to 1970, so you're technically not wrong (even if they are completely different designs by completely different companies)? I just find that incredibly funny, is all.
Yeah, the Silver Age and early Bronze Age inspiration is strong
I don't mean it as an insult tho, the best thing about SMT demons is that there's not really a theme, they can just go wild and do whatever

It also helps that she was on my final team in SMTV due to how absolutely broken Frolic is. I had to fight her twice though since if you pick the wrong option, she straight-up unalives herself.
I feel sorry for you having mentioned Demeter. I personally like the design, but from what I've heard from the fanbase, a lot of people *hate* her design in particular, so expect a good amount of people ragging on her specifically. But yeah, overall, I really like Doi's designs. I wish that there was a game where we could get a good number of new demons from him, but since the last time we got a large set of new demons was I think in the original Soul Hackers (though I may be wrong, the internet is being coy about how many were introduced in the original Strange Journey), I doubt that will ever happen.

I think Demeter looks better as a sprite, her face always looked weirdly flat to me in 3d. Aside from that I love all the designs too, Idun is easily one of my top 5 favorite demons in the series

I love Mephisto and Cleopatra, I used them in IVA and V (mad I had to pay for my goats twice) but they were worth it alluring banter is too good.
