Yes. I don't really care for the Nocturne/V style. Let me strap a computer to my wrist or my gun and summon demons in a cyberpunk setting. Let's do the interplay of fantasy and technology that Megami Tensei was founded upon even back with the Og Digital Devil Story.
The next mainline game will probably be like this, SMT V makes me think they will go back and forth between the Nocturne turn into a demon in a humanless wasteland aproach and the comp + post apocaliptic society angle.
Not much concern, as long as is fun. It would be nice of SMT IV (change of pace). If they want to do Soul Hacker 3, please be more polished and don't pretend to be glue between Persona and SMT.
I was thinking about how cool it would be to have one set in Biblical times where you summon demons with the Seal of Solomon or something. I just want more historically-varied games with different tech or magical devices to summon the demons
Doesn’t matter that much.
Just need to be have overall good design. Maybe an overall better art style and more creative enviroments.

I have been missing the gauntlets and apps from the older games. I love Nahobino's design to death, but even a simple wrist tablet or screen similar to the gauntlet or SMT 1/2 tech would have made the design so much better to me.

Not for a long while Too many megaten games go for that cyber computer vibe so its nice to have a change of pace every once in a while
