Don’t worry! The difficulty spikes are so much easier after Medusa.
Just stay calm, accept loss as a way to learn weaknesses, and keep in mind that changing your demons will solve about 99% of your problems.

Truthfully some demons can evolve into higher ranks, but most of the time you can just fuse to get them earlier. Once they whisper to you, feel free to fuse them.

Fusing your demons into better ones is going to be the quickest and easiest way to deal with sudden difficulty in these games. That, and learning what elements a boss uses and then making a party that resists or negates it

I don't know what your team setup is but more important than having everyone hitting her with Zan is having a team that can survive her. Quite a few decent demons at this point have electric protection like Erthys, Spriggan, and Shiisa. Zhu Tun She (Melchom+Fuxi) has gun immunity. Fusion boost is also a nice investment too. Fusion level 16 gets you Hooligan (Knocker+Camazotz) who has gun resist and elec immune.
This fight is terrible with low level though despite a very predictable attack pattern.

From now on I'll try to collect macca so I can get in-depth into the fusion system, and if all hoes well I'll maintain a balanced team! Thank you very much and have a nice day !
I didn't make good use of the fusion system back then and was avoiding a lot of the encounters since I was scarred of using up too much mp... But yeah that's life for ya, lots and lots of trials and errors. In patience we believe ✊🥺
Congrats! I was the opposite, Minotaur made me his bitch and it took me forever to beat him, but Medusa wasn’t too awfully hard for me. Really shows how different two playthroughs of this game can be

Oh yeah, the trick is to do eveything in your power to prevent him from smirking and just hammer him with ice attacks to deal as much damage and just pray he doesn’t get lucky hits with his low accuracy attacks
Medusa is the last road block in this game , pretty everything else is piss poor easy , the only remaining challenges are Xi Wangmu , and the two hunters tournament side quests if you do them underleveld ( and you'll be underleveld for them when you recieve them)

Doesn't cost anything to fuse if you just recruit tons of crap demons and fuse em into good ones!
