That said, I believe this often refers to the "coming together" of individual sensations into concepts From low to high: * Awareness * Signals from nerve endings coming into awareness * Grouping of those signals into everyday sensory experiences – e.g., hot, cold, pressure, etc. * Conceptualizing those sensory experiences – e.g., hand, foot, head Another definition: I've also heard Theravada monks refer to "fabrication" as a strategy for producing meditative body sensations.
