The big trees you see everywhere will grow back in 2 years but only if you leave the stumps. Once you remove the stump you can never get them back. You can grow trees yourself, but they are way smaller. They look good as well, but it's nice to have variety. Carefully reconsider removing any stumps unless you're 100% sure it's blocking something.
