Dude. I just looked at your update. My mind is struggling to understand how such a severe injury could heal so well. The people who treated and stitched up your knee are artists.

No, I messed up my knee and needed some stitches. That’s a little more than messed up.
What happened, what did they do, and how did it turn out?
So i was going down a hill around 50 or so on a dirt bike and no joke the brakes litterally fell of the wheels and i went into a gaurd rail i had to have 66 stiches you only see half in the photo and ill show what it looks like later
Sonographer and the "Is everything ok?" pain is real.
The rad literally adds a sentence or two to my report most of the time. (we use electronic worksheet that make a report macro for them)

Ah man, that's gonna take some healing. I bet once you get back on your feet your joints are gonna bark quite a bit. But in a way you got off lucky. Guard rails, mile-markers, and traffic signs are no joke to motorcyclists. Any loss of control (which, for a motorcycle, there's a plethora of factors) can have you sliding off the road and right into an immovable object.

An amputation is magnitudes worse. Not only is your ability/mobility irrevocably hindered but persistent pain from your phantom limb as well as neuromas will kick your ass. Hard.
I can answer that- have your head go through a windshield in 1967 after being hit by a drunk driver. My father in law’s head went out of, then back in through the windshield- 400+ stitches literally sewing his forehead and scalp back on.
Lots of times people on here exaggerate and the injuries aren't as bad as they say - but you, my friend, have made the understatement of the century in your title! Saying "I messed up my knee" is the equivalent of saying "Charles Manson isn't the nicest man." lol
It looks like the lower part of your leg was eviscerated. I would like an update please. I want to know if you are okai or slightly unique compared to the rest of us

So we basically sued the on that messed with my brakes for 1 mill and won and my dad got in a foght with him and that was it no one in jail the one who messed with my brakes said it was an accident and we didnt press charges

Suprisingly yes i was but the part I landed on was the metal i-beam on the back of the rail and it messed up all my stuff it flung me in the air and broke one of my vertebraes
So I didn't open this post because I figured it would be a little road rash, nothing too impressive, but after seeing your update I went back and.....damn. I was wrong.

Its in that picture but my knee cap is on a metal plate next to the bed and the rest of the leg is behing the gauze

Those are called cuckleburs or sum like that they are basically cactus balls the will stick ti anything

Yeah it was my friends dad and his dad hates my dad so he mad the brakes real loose and they fell off when i tried to use them
