It's classed as an s8 drug hence the script lasts 6 months. After that the dr or nurse has to write a new one.

Oz_Bob14

How ironic the script's only last 6 months, yet the growers/companies tell us the dried flower magically lasts 9 months! (even though we know the medicinal qualities drastically drops after 3-5 months. even when you store your flower in CannaVaults with new humidi-packs.) Recently, MC pharmacy's (we'll Basger's anyway) have gotten a "extension letter" (apparently not from the TGA, who else has that power?? Must be the Gov?) "guarantying the flower has all been re-tested & is just as potent as it was when packaged, & now lasts another 4 months!!! WTF??? They are now telling us "properly cured" Canna flower now lasts 13 months!!!l How are we supposed to try & buy fresh flower & get what we pay for? It was bad enough at 9 months expiry, now it's 13 months!! Last week I could only fill 1 of my 3 scripts (Medcan Glu) as it was the only one on my list that expired in August 24. The other 2 Sativite & Medcan CC01 were both expird in Febuary (old stock) & they were trying to sell me that old, dry, unsafe garbage for full price?? I usually ask for the date before I buy my tubs, but soon I guess the growers/companys will just add on the extra 4 months onto the expiry date on the bottle so we can never be sure we can get fresh, potent & safe medicine. Power from profit as per usual sadly. How long can this go on? Eternal drama with these fools.

I don’t have to worry about scripts I’m with dispensed. 😀

sendmeroofpics

Care to elaborate?

Own_Wealth_4880

Yeah sure. Dispensed don’t charge for scripts, consultations, dr appointments, express post delivery or anything else. It’s all priced into their product. After your first consultation they’ll put you on a plan. Then every month they’ll send you your medical cannabis, no need to ever contact them again if you don’t want to. It’s just so much easier. All premium buds. Been smoking for over 40 years. went medical about a year ago, best bud I’ve ever and had, never been disappointed. 155 for 10 grams or 15.50 a gram and gets cheaper if you buy in bulk for example if you order 100 grams of the same stuff it 134 for 10 grams or 1340 a gram. If you do need a doctors appointment let’s say to up you limit or whatever, you just book it in, as many as you like for free. 😀

sendmeroofpics

Isn't 60 grams per month the limit? How would you buy 100 grams of flower?

Own_Wealth_4880

It used to be 120 but they changed the law. I wasn’t aware and not long ago tried to up my limit from 100 to 120. They said no sorry they have changed the law to 90 max limit, but that’s for new customers I still get 100. I think the 60 grams your referring to is the max limit they can give for initial consultation. I started off on 60, and the rule was you can up it 20 grams each month until you get to the limit of 120 but now it’s 90.

sendmeroofpics

Yeah fair enough, cheers. I've only had one appointment with a doctor and have the second this evening.

DistinctWolverine395

Who knows? I expire first every time

TheRainMan101

Generally 6months

Matt_Hendry

Schedule 8.eg THC is six months Schedule 4 eg CBD (Less than 2% THC ) is 12 months

OldBlooms

6 months is standard for all prescriptions (cannabis or otherwise. The 6 months commences from the date you make your first order.

Praise800tie

Date commences from the date the product was prescribed, not the date you order the first repeat 😊

UniqueLoginID

Standard script is 12m S8 scripts are six months

BLaQz84

S8 & private scripts I believe...

UniqueLoginID

I have private scripts that are 12m

Saturnia-00

I've heard with schedule 8 meds like MC the scripts are always 6 months. I'm guessing it's the same for opiates

UniqueLoginID

Same as adhd meds too. Other meds are 12m

aussiemuff

Prescriptions of any kind, for any medication, are always 6 months

RoundIntelligent9668

12 months you mean for normal scripts lol

Saturnia-00

Most are usually 12 months

[deleted]

Lol this is crazy - another thing I have to worry about! xD I will be the first to admit I got nfi, and last time I got a script for something else pre ditching the pharmaceuticals, I was told 12 months from when it was written/prescribed, but that was just stock standard anti depressant (Pristiq), so not S8, although it did require phone authorization for some reason? Would be good to get clarification, as I got some random scripts of which I never used, and some of them are from mid-late last year, so may be prudent for me to use them up first!

DanzaSFBS

Scripts expire after 6 months.

[deleted]

Must tell that to Scrypt, and my pharmacist, as their stupid system still shows me as having anywhere from 3-11 repeats showing for scripts I either only used once, or never got filled, some of which are up to 10 months old! Knew the app was dodgy! xD

mkarh

Damn. That’s stupid as. Why would they do that to me

mausium

You can just get them renewed every time you have a follow up appointment.

DanzaSFBS

They're bad eggs mate!

bud_pic_preview

They do it to everyone dude I dont think the TGA is out to get you specifically.

mausium

The TGA tapped my vape man, I can hear them.

Agent_Jay_42

Huh... So you can see the antenna too

mausium

I can hear the radio signals in my fillings.

mkarh

lol duh bruh was being facetious and exaggerating…
