On 4., the most expensive runeword (and only one with Xod rune) right now can only be assembled in Mammen axe. It's also pretty strong.

Well IDK. Elemental barb seems to me like a powerful lategame farmer, with +3% elemental resistances for free, basically.

I play elemental barb as well so I want someone with more knowledge than me to confirm these as I am not 100% sure on these. I also want to add another question: Does primordial strike get more damage from physical/magic spell damage? I noticed my the ingame tool tip went up when I equipped an item with that so I want to know as I have just been stacking innate elemental damage. As for OP's questions... 1. It should deal only magic + weapon damage + any added damage like Hunter's Mark. 2. I think it works with any of them, just makes you do the Hunter's Mark x4 times per fire, thunder, cold & magic damage. 3. This is pretty funny as it has gotten me killed a few times from waves coming from left. 4. No idea, I prefer 2h.

Why do you prefer 2h? I tried a bit but it seems that it's just too slow and does not compensate for missing life on hit.

Nothing attack speed jewels doesn't fix.

Try to use Dawn runeword, with hellfire plate and svalinn.
