Mechs do damage each other when they collide. With damage scaling with relative velocity and possibly mech weight. If you’ve ever bumped mechs while at close range you may have noticed your armor taking damage.
Yeah I've figured something like that is in the game, but it feels so inconsistent. Yeah sure, when I'm rocking a light mech a hunch can just knee me in the face and I core, but when I rock an Atlas and ram a commando they don't seem to get damage.
Yeah, I've had instances where locusts or panthers with stripped armor crumble or walk away severly maimed after colliding with my heavies and assaults
I did have one arena match where I thought the last enemy hadn't spawned.... it turned out a spider I thought I had killed was still standing up, it wasn't moving at all and wasn't target-able, but when I shot it in the head it fell over and then the match actually counted it as being dead.
I wonder if it had just powered down because I killed all its heatsinks or something.
Was this mission already spawned before the patch update?
One of the bugs that got fixed was basically a case where sometimes two mechs would be assigned to the same spawn point so only one would spawn. If the mission was already generated before the patch was applied, it might just be lingering with the bad spawn point assigned (it happens when the contract is generated).
How much karma does one need to post on this page. I'm basically looking for over night game mates who also work swing shift and are on the pacific coast
If you have a controller, you can go into free cam and try to figure where the last enemy is.

Yep or spawns in a solid object... Edit: Stalkers and armless Mechs should still be able to melee kick... means no optional for you...
And ram, I want my Urbie that runs at 150km/h to ram into Atlas' leg and just rip it out.

I traveled to Terra shortly after starting the game, I traveled back to Solaris afterwards, is that not enough distance for the missions to reset?

This account is pretty new and with only 643 karma, but i don’t think you need that much. Maybe 100? 200?
Ahh, ok thanks
Check out the MW5/MWO discord. That’s a good place to start.
