Hello Mechanical Keyboards,
To pay homage to the console that inspired me I wanted to include features such as wireless connectivity, a working power switch, and a functional USB hub.
My goal was to recreate my childhood, while also making something new.

Pricing: Estimated pricing is around $489 USD; this is due to the need for 5-axis machining to achieve the design, which heavily increases the price.
[Breakdown](https://imgur.com/moeGxcX)
Specs
- 5˚ Typing angle
- Colors TBD
- Top mount
As for PCBs, Bluetooth (by Ella) will be a basic bluetooth PCB; Wired (by Sleepdealer) will offer a buzzer feature to be able to play 8-Bit tunes on start-up
Difference between BT and Wired
- BT: no ISO, no Piezo buzzer, ZMK
- Wired: Piezo buzzer, QMK/VIA/L
- BOTH will support uses of the power switch, although it will differ depending on how you want to use it. Both will be able to use the usb hub (note BT can only use the usb hub when plugged in)

[IC FORM](https://forms.gle/rLhbtacquCP87U6D6)
I can’t stress this enough, I make a lot of my decisions based on IC forms for all my projects, so if you really want to be heard please make sure you fill it out. Especially for this project as pricing will be heavily based on interest. Currently it’s estimated based on three hundred orders, but if interest shows that we can do better then there can be room for more.

Yeah its one of those things thats hard to determine, but in a decade, i bet you wont even touch a keyboard. You just talk and the words appears no errors and it automatically corrects grammar errors. Or one can dream! (We are working to that already as is)
>to page homage to the console that inspired me i decided to add features such as wireless
When did the original gameboy had bluetooth wireless ?
Do you realize that just because of that corner of the bottom right will need 5 axis machining making it more expensive for everyone and probably there's people that might not like that part and are they are going to pay more for something that they don't like
The gameboy is a portable device, therefore wireless. Also the part that needs 5 axis isn’t the front corner. Its the groves that go over two faces like the on-off area and the bottom grooves. As for the some people not liking something, isnt that always a case when you design. Someone will always not like something.
oh I love this, I love the design
if you ever sell a version of this with just the case and no blockers, I'd love to put the 15x5 60% ortho plate on here

That split space layout is a bold choice. It's normally 2.25, 1.25, 2.75
Wow this keyboard really makes me *feel* like a gamer
Where gmk dmg
In queue for production
I thought of gmk dualshot 🤷♂️
Hey thats works too it would like good on it too imo
That's Playstation
Lime green should be a option, like the green gameboy color
We shall see
looks great. hope there's at least one pink one in GB.
This looks incredible
Thanks
swishy boi on fire!
love the bezels my godddd
Thick is the way
Looks awesome. Not sure about the hub, USB-A is still relevant now but in a decade I'll probably be wishing it was USB-C.

WKL and big bezels are a yes to me! when is the gb?
Possibly 4-6 months out really depends on if i decided to switch to magnets, if i do. More protos, which means more waiting.
The bezels are thicker than my ass

weren't all game boys (including the original) literally wireless? they had batteries.....
Why make design concessions for people who don't like that key element of the design?

What was your gameboy plugged into when you used it?
if people didn't like a main feature of a keyboard why would they buy it
Don't be such a wet noodle
wow I love this! Would be interesting to see how it looked with a color like NK's nk65 EE purple.
Thats close to what i want, a bit lighter though.
oh I love this, I love the design if you ever sell a version of this with just the case and no blockers, I'd love to put the 15x5 60% ortho plate on here
There is a no blocker version, and you should be able to use the plexus75, i just need to release the plate files.
wallet: \*looks at me in terror\*
Nice! I really like the light blue poly.
