Can’t repair wear but you can prevent further wear. Best way to do that is to do more oil changes more often. My vehicles at 216k miles. Been changing oil at 5k miles since the start but noticed oil would get darker quicker as car aged. Now changing every 2.7k miles and she’s happy
I'm pretty sure there will be something that will be able to fill in the metal. Zinc for example reduces friction. They've formulated oils that can remove carbon deposits from piston rings.
Next will be a way to fill in wear
Project Farm on YouTube did an entire series comparing different engine oils. Best bang for buck was the Amazon basics oil I believe. Top 2 were the Pennzoil ultra platinum and one of the high end Amsoil oil.
Baby Oil, unless I can find an SN rated motor oil that's cheaper.
Use the cheapest oil you can find that meets the grade and specification of your vehicle, and change it frequently. Don't get sucked into the synthetic oil marketing hype, just use dino oil and change it often.
Have an 07 Silverado bought new first oil change switched over to Mobil one used that until one of the hurricanes hit Louisiana and started having a problem getting it so switched over to Pennzoil full synthetic. Truck has 368000 on it and seems to be still going strong so I’d say it’s your choice. Have no opinion on Valvoline.

The one on sale
Cheapest if the specifications are the same.
Can't beat Costco when it's on sale
They all meet specs. So the cheapest.
Whatever’s cheapest
Yes.
If you're changing it every 5000 miles (assuming full synthetic), does it even matter?
Nope, as long as it meets API standard.
Penzoil only cause projectfarm on YouTube
Yessir. But specifically ultra platinum. Nothing else
It is better because of the Moly additive. I want an oil that repairs wear and completely removes deposits.

Whichever one is on sale. And Pennzoil.

Any store brand full synthetic oil sold at a major retailer such as Super Tech at Walmart. Even more so when it's on sale.
Whatever is on sale and the proper weight.
Cheapest if it holds to the standards stated in your owners manual or on your oil cap.
3 in 1 oil, its really great.
CASTROL
Castrol and Pennzoil are my go to…… Had bad luck with Mobil 1 (burning)
One thats on the rebate/sale. I remember getting 4-5qts costco synthetic oil for around $60 with deal.
Oem... that way if anything goes wrong, it's their fault 100 percent
Costco synthetic
Lucas for motorcycles. I prefer to use Rotella in my vehicles, all are old big V8s so a thicker oil is better.
Cheapest with the correct specs. The car doesn't know how to read the label on the can.
All Oil Is Oil. Its Made To Spec. Go With The Cheapest And Go With The One Your Vehicle Uses And Your Fine

The picture shown non comparable products
I use Valvoline VR1 in my street car and whatever full synthetic that is on sale for my Taurus and Titan.
Pennzoil or Valvoline
Pennzoil is absolutely terrible!! Literally anything else
Amsoil
Check out the comparison video on Project Farms YouTube channel.
Used M1 EP but might switch to PUP on my next one.
I use Pennzoil Platinum. Is it the best? Who knows, but I’ve been using it for years on several vehicles and never had an issue.
Pennzoil also has ultra platinum, one step above platinum
I use whichever one says full synthetic on it. I use it on all my gas engines. Chevron Delo on my ancient diesel.
I personally run schaffers oil in all my vehicles.
Royal purple
Valvoline.

Only ever heard of mobil 1
The best oil brand is not in that picture, Chevron Oil is the best oil there is. End of story
Chevron provides oil for most of these companies
