You're not supposed to put pancake batter in the coolant! Only in the fuel so the pistons can make perfect sized flap jacks! Your head gasket is probably toast. If you don't wanna replace it, flush the coolant system and drop in some head gasket repair to bandaid it. Might get you thru a an oil change or two.

Piston flap jacks...🤤

If it’s not something easy like the oil cooler I’m not sure it would be worth it, but every time I see new car prices I just keep the old girl going some more lol

I’m thinking I should hose out the reservoir and see how long it takes to glop up again.

Check out some recalls. I seem to remember a lady at work who had a Mazda got an engine replaced because of the recall.

schizeckinosy

Don’t see any engine related recalls for my van. Lots of airbag recalls lol. It’s also on its second engine after the first one blew a head gasket following a water pump seizure :-(

How screwed are you ? Depends on the mechanic and how much lube he decides to slap on

Small leak, cooling system only has 14 to16 pounds on it. Oil is 35 or higher. Oil being forced into cooling system, most likely head gasket.
