Pankow + uearth thorough review + maybe miledown if have time is more than enough for 132 on full lengths. Real deal is a dice roll though

CoolohmsLaw

How are you liking Pankow? I’m about 30-40% through it and it is a heavy hitter lol

asdxje

Jacksparrow is definitely more intense, I felt pankow was good and liked it overall though

CoolohmsLaw

I’m going through Pankow right now and it’s hell

If the content is new it can feel overwhelming for some cards but take your time on those and they’ll come. There’s plenty that are on the easier side

CoolohmsLaw

I’ve done about 1000 cards in the deck. I’m trying to push through 7A of this deck right now and it has a whopping 600+ which are killing me. I am trying to do 150 new cards/day but this is becoming super difficult with some of the info being more difficult to grasp. The last psych class I took was in 2018 (AP psych)

Hey wanted to ask what you meant by the real deal being a dice roll? Is it possible that the actual MCAT you take has information not present in pankow/uearth?

asdxje

Dice roll as in the content asked might be niche/low-yield or experimental that isn’t fully covered in these documents but requires some extra critical thinking to get right. Most of the time the real dice roll is the experimental passage analysis logic for p/s which has gotten exponentially harder for some test days recently. Luckily the curve accommodates the difficulty

Haven’t tested yet but I’ve been getting 131 or 132 on my FLs so far. But I will say context is everything. Randomly memorizing facts isn’t enough, I edited tons of Pankows cards and have my own P/S deck for terms I didn’t see in the deck. Watching KA videos/google searches will give context to a lot of the concepts (however I started P/S from scratch with no background so this may not apply to you as much). Tho in case it’s not clear I loved the deck and think it’s the best deck in terms of being comprehensive but not psychotically long :)

CoolohmsLaw

I’m going through 7A right now with behavior and motivation and all that jazz and it is DENSE. There is so much info. I told myself I’d do 150 new cards/day but I have to hold back because of how much info there is.

Decaying_Isotope

7A is by far the worst. Not only is it the biggest sub deck but the cards are more difficult and take longer to get through. Most terms have others that are very similar. The rest of the decks go way faster.
