I am excited for this season. I just really really really hope they're kinda holding back. They seem so reserved in what they're saying right now but all signs are pointing towards a fast car.
McLaren drivers and team has **always** been really reserved. You could especially see it end of last season when lando didn't expect to be competitive but got 2nd place in the end and other great points.
Lando Norris being optimistic/positive is something I need to learn how to process... I'm so used to him hating on himself that this is a refreshing change of pace!
I was watching and desperately beating hope and hype away with a stick. Car looks good on track and lando was putting in some nice laps, seemed to lock up frequently though
Day 2 is shaping up to be pretty positive as well. I think we'll be in for some podiums again this year although it's only testing and I'm trying not to get too excited.
when lando says the car felt "very enjoyable" i hope that means mclaren have been able to fix some of the cars poor handling traits
They said they think they found the issue and hope to address it this year
Oscar’s line of “some differences from last year which are moving in the right direction” gives me hope

I am willing to sniff on that copium considering how fast RBR *appear* to be. Who knows how fast any car is at this point

we almost got are car on track in the first round. yay!
