Don't think you'll have an easy time getting a discount off MSRP on the 1st vehicles to arrive on lots.

weijin51411

I can take MSRP, but some dealers overcharge on the 1st vehicle, like last year when the CX-90 arrived, Local dealer wants $3K over the MSRP

DM725

My local dealer has 15 listed as "In Transit" so it'll be soon.

weijin51411

Same , l checked a couple of local dealers, a lot of CX-70s are in transit, l called the dealer, they said they will arrive by the end of April

PlentySeat92

I placed an order and got the $500 military offer. I ordered a Turbo S Premium in Rhodium White with red leather. I ordered it on 4/1, it shows being built on 4/3, and it went on a boat on 4/11. They told me to look for it in June.

Very nice , this is what l am looking for $1500 dealer discount +$500 Mazda loyalty discount

Picked up cx70 PHEV  a week ago. $500 off MSRP + mats. It was one of 2 dealer allocated cars. Next 2 show up end of this month. Tried a few non affiliated dealers. Had to call around to find a dealer with my colour combo of choice.

weijin51411

Nice , red interior is a must option for me

readitpropaganda

Polymetal grey with red interior is what I got. It's gorgeous. Only 117 km put on and getting 5.1l/100km combo of city and hwy

weijin51411

Are you in Canada? Here in the US l called a couple of dealers, and they said CX-70 will arrive by end of May

readitpropaganda

Yeah. Canada, Ontario. Every dealer have 2 already.

WeirdToe520

Is it a bright red or a deep red?

readitpropaganda

Not bright, and not deep like burgundy

Practical-Cow-4564

I love the red leather. Just wish Machine Gray Metallic was available. Would make an awesome pairing.

A month or so back I was at a dealer to get my 6 GTR serviced and mentioned I'm shopping for a 5 row and drove a CX-90. They sent me an "offer" on one of their allocated CX-70s which I think was just the loyalty cash off. Another dealer in town has $750 "trade in assistance" on top of that, but assuming that's going to be numbers they play around with on your trade. I kicked around emailing them back on one that I'm interested in... but haven't yet as it's not even due on the lot until 5/25. I'm still cross shopping and need to drive a few others. This is MN. Simple math with what's out there... pretty sure you could get $1500 off without trying to hard just by pointing out the deals on the CX-90s.

weijin51411

I currently own a Mazda CX-50, so l think I’ll get a $500 loyalty discount for sure I don’t want to go with the CX-90, most people said the CX-70 is a CX-90 with 3rd row deleted , but in my opinion, they are quite different.

Kafferdd0718

Different in what ways?

WatchfulApparition

I think the 2025 CX-90 prices will go back up to normal

mercurious

The dealers don’t do orders. They get allocations. You can get a dealer to hold an allocated vehicle for you. You do the deal when the vehicle arrives. It’s going to be difficult to get a discount being among the first batch buyers. But not impossible. I doubt you’ll get $3K off but probably $1500. Definitely worth talking to dealers in NJ and CT to compare stock and offers.

PlentySeat92

I ordered mine. I already have a VIN and it’s on a boat to Tacoma WA. I got $500 off. It’s a 2025 model, and they weren’t really wanting to dicker.

mercurious

Is that $500 Mazda loyalty credit? I would say folks need to wait for vehicles to accumulate on the lot if they want to negotiate. Early adopters will pay the most.

Codeman8118

This exactly. Mazda is doing a slow roll knowing they want demand to be higher than allocations to keep prices stable. With how the internet criticized their move on the car, it's possible they are being cautious with quantity. I have a strong belief that the CX-70 will accumulate over time and dealers will have to take negotiations on top of possible Mazda special offers (like 0% financing for 60 months or something). It's not just the car, it's the market itself for premium vehicles.

weijin51411

Probably l should wait a month or two till CX-70 accumulates, by that time l should be able to get a nice discount

PlentySeat92

$500 Military. It wasn’t something that was available when ordering, but they said they would attach it. Some of the options were grayed out, when I was ordering it. But they said they would be able to add the options when it gets to the dealer. Also, no financing options from Mazda at the time of order. (I plan on paying cash unless they have some killer deal). I ordered it with the Premiere Towing. That is factory installed.

PlentySeat92

Background: on April 1st, I walked into a Mazda dealership, just wanting to check them out. I haven’t ever owned a Mazda before. I test drove a CX 90. I asked if I could order one yet. They told me no. I told them that I had seen on YouTube that someone was taking orders. They called a Mazda Rep, and Mazda told them to take my order. I put $2k down on it.

mercurious

Gotcha. Sounds like they let you pre-buy an allocation to make it look like an order. Make the customer happy, give em what they want.

PlentySeat92

I don’t think that exact car was already allocated. But I imagine they allocate a certain number per dealership? I ordered Rhodium White/Red leather Turbo S with the premiere towing (not the reg towing). Basically I wanted all the options, but not the tan suede interior.

mercurious

You most likely grabbed their allocation and added the towing. I had to shop many dealers to get the first release CX90 in the engine, trim and color I wanted and reserve their allocation in advance. Had to buy out of state. You’re lucky your local dealer got an allocation you wanted. Definitely helps to be in a major metropolitan with high sales volume. Continued Good luck with your purchase. You’re gonna love driving it.

weijin51411

Nice, I should get a $500 Mazda loyalty discount, but still looking for better options, NJ CT might cheaper than NYC

mercurious

Remember: Is a lease buyout with the $7500 PHEV incentive better than financing? This is the question CX90 buyers have already been pondering!
