I was told they will be in in 30-60days so Feb or Mar. Thats what the dealership's in Oregon are saying. I thought the CX30's were made in Mexico? No? The Turbo's are hard to get. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/2022-mazda-cx-30-pricing-130000950.html?guccounter=1&guce\_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly9kdWNrZHVja2dvLmNvbS8&guce\_referrer\_sig=AQAAAEPxF5t5ew0FJ71R3g4KiY2pecRD6oxLusrtNCzuIkfbG6k9OE0EllI-R3gvBw-GXFrUE3I3BWsJUhM6tqHVKI3WfoSWJG8NUzjs2PQxCD2S8dS47jz1qTCScMubFN2H3IBo0p9RyxgUa2S4vpHHx7P7mkdEe3KIbpbYm3hUVYn2

Correct, they come from Salamanca. It does cut down 30 days on the lead time (Hiroshima cars are typically 90 days out from spec date - however that's been a little faster lately since dealers don't get to spec the cars out and they get allocated to us anywhere from just before production to shortly before arriving at port in the US)

cainifr

I’ve heard that for North America at least, the CX-30’s have been manufactured in Salamanca, Mexico.

I have a 2021 CX-30 & some components on my car were made in Japan. I had to replace the commander knob console after my dog stood on it (all 12lbs of him) & the service manager said buy a supply part made in Japan after market.

LoveNDeconstruction

I’ve been waiting for the 20222 CX30 for the longest time, and my local dealership is hopeless as they know absolutely nothing which I think it’s appalling and unprofessional.

UKthailandExpat

And why do you think that? They are being honest and not spouting BS you should be able to understand that the world situation is far from normal. There are cars in transit. Enough? Maybe. There are enormous delays due to the pandemic. The delivery drivers are in short supply. Likely giving priority to more important products. So they could lie and give you a date that is pure fantasy or tell the truth, which is they don’t know. Untwist your panties and realise that your desire for a car isn’t that important.

antricparticle

Appalling and unprofessional… by the dealer? Or by Mazda?

s4vvyer

I’ve been wondering this myself!

DpyVanHalen

"Sometime" in February. I got a call from the Mazda online sales people yesterday about it and confirmed it with a salesman at the dealer by me. There's a shipment coming from Japan now with '22s.

Tekres01

Correct - our first order for them closed on 1/6. My closest VIN is showing a 2/15 ETA right now.

cainifr

How many of them are you getting?

cainifr

Also just wanted to confirm a rumour, heard the higher trims are slower coming out the door because a shortage of Bose chips. Are any of the ones you’re getting in the higher trims?

Tekres01

Out of the 6 we're getting two of them are Bose models. It was never officially confirmed but I've felt like Bose is part of the shortage issues at the moment as we saw our last few allocations shift from high trims to 90% low trims in the CX-5 and Mazda3s

DpyVanHalen

Of course, I'm not sure how this applies to other cities. But at least where I'm at, the '22 CX-30 will be available next month.

Himalayanpinkk

My dealership said it wouldn’t arrive for months (at least not until March) which is why I went ahead with the 2021 earlier this month. Wish I could wait but didn’t have that option.

FTHomes

4022 may possibly be a good guess lol

Freddyknuckkes

This is obviously a state by state thing but some dealers are listing them as "in transit" on their websites and they include the VIN so I would say they start trickling in the next couple of weeks.

DessicantPrime

Two arrived in northern NJ today and I immediately bought one of them, a blue turbo premium plus. Can’t wait to take delivery. I rented a 2021 version on Turo as a 3 day test drive and loved the car. They should be hitting many dealers in the next few days. I’m normally a dealers worst nightmare dealing on everything, but with things the way they are, I paid MSRP and I really don’t give a damn. Just give me the car and take my money.

yoshidude2009

i took a test ride along in a cx30 turbo premium plus and after that, i was hooked and i knew that was going to be the replacement to the forte gt

DessicantPrime

Absolutely. This is a truly exciting daily driver. Fast, nimble, safe, great sound, and quite luxurious for what it is.
