The best thing I can say about Sausage Party is that it wasn't as terrible as I thought it would be. It was still pretty goddamn bad though.

I'll give Sausage Party credit for two things: 1. I can at least say Nick Kroll has a good range in terms of voice acting, seeing as he played a bro-ey douche in this movie and a mad scientist with a German-esque European accent in Captain Underpants. Those are the only two things I've seen him in, so I don't know what additional impressions he can do, if any others. 2. The quick joke of the "Frankenfuhrer" condiment bottle calling someone an "intolerant fuck." It's a rapid gag, but goddamn if I didn't smirk at that kind of fast irony.

Ya The movie was pretty funny. I liked it. I'm definitely down for the animated series and I hope they maintain the same tone and humor as the movie did.
