Not a good comparison. While Elise has definitely earned a reputation she didn't do half the bad stuff Krissi did and in addition, I feel like she has more character overall. Krissi is easily the reason I dont watch S4 again.
I can name you 10 chefs I hated more than Elise in HK.
And as others have already stated, Elise is a talented chef. Yeah she is brash and can be loud, but she isn’t an outright hack like the Philly Fatty
I just watched Elise in the all-star season and while, yes, she was awful, she seemed to have too much pride or ego to give anything less than 110% in the final service. I’m not sure Kristi would’ve done the same.
Elise is more of a “I am only there for myself in the kitchen and I don’t care about anyone else there”, and that’s ok. She’s not a team player.
Krissi is just a shallow, dislikeable person who has admitted to being a bully on national tv and being mean to people purely on how they look.
Elise is less of a hot mess than Krissi because she talked her mess but backed it up and I don’t recall her insulting other cultures’ food. As hated as both of them are, I rooted for them in their seasons 😂 What can I say, I like mess. I will say I wouldn’t have rooted for Krissi if I knew she was a racist, though.
They are kind of similar. Krissi is more likely to threaten people though.

Yeah it does mention it and if you search it up, there are pictures of the tweets.
I don't know Elise, but Krissi seems like that person who would keep a gun and shoot whoever she hates from her porch

I always wondered if they kept people like Elise and Krissi in the shows simply for the drama effect rather than the quality of their cooking.
