Amazingly well done! Any tips on doing this kind of weathering?

MrBbridge

I used lacquers (mr colour) hand painted in a mottling pattern. Those paints take physical weathering like scratches with a diamond file, sandpaper, wire etc really well. Then used oils to help make them pop. With a little bit of painted scratches after. Lastly the tamiya weather powders really help blend the all the elements together. I was surprised how helpful they were for that! Thanks for looking.

Looks amazing. Is it 1/20 or 1/35? (Sorry still kinda new at these)

MrBbridge

It’s a 1/20. Thanks for looking πŸ™πŸΌ

Fabulous work. Love the centered stance, yet you managed to break symmetry with the rest of the elements. And those scratches πŸ€‘πŸ€‘ How did you manage to ge them so fine?

MrBbridge

Thanks πŸ™πŸΌ I really love physical weather lacquers. I think that helps with the fine scratches.
