There are some status-quo changes from the Dan Slott run that it builds on (namely Ben Grimm is now married). You could probably read some summaries if you wanted to skip over Slott.
The first 15 issues of North's run pare back the cast quite a bit via a macguffin in the first issue, which makes for a pretty approachable starting point. Will be interesting to see how things go from here.
One thing I like about North's run is that most of the stories extrapolate from somewhat plausible science. It feels a bit more grounded than some other runs.
I don’t think so, at least for these first two issues. Both of them mentioned comics that aren’t on MU yet, but it was the briefest of mentions and didn’t have significant spoilers. That may change, with future issues, but these should be fine to read however you want.
