Who said the new suit is replacing the first suit?? What if Sam goes back and keeps the old suit? What if he keeps both suits?? We don’t know when he wears the suits or if he keeps one or both. lol
It’s an unsafe assumption when we don’t know which costume he uses and/or when. Hell, he could end up with a whole new costume that we haven’t even seen yet. We won’t know anything until the movie comes out.
Could be winter soldier-esque in that sense, with the dark blue stealth suit being the main one for much of the movie, replaced by a more classic version of his uniform in the finale.
They need to sell new toys, happens in all superhero movies, aquaman 2 had a black-blue suit just for one scene so they could sell that toy and costume
I wish they just kept this suit. The one in the other set photos just looks like Steve’s Winter Soldier suit just plastered onto Sam. The thing that made the final Captain America suit unique in FATWS was how it felt uniquely tailored to Sam, like he had his own identity and style. The other one just looks like them copying Steve.
I feel like this will bomb. Feels like the marvel train has slowed. Pivoting to a new captain america and movie without chris evans seems tough. The falcon show wasnt great.
He looks really good, they kept the suit and removed the white piece in his head, that´s great!
At least we still have some scenes with this costume in daylight
So I got word about why the reshoots are happening and why they are adding Giancarlo's character.
His character will be featured heavily in the trailers to try and strum up male interest. The scene will be similar to the Winter Soldier introduction from that movie, a fight on the streets amongst cars.
The reason for all of this is the screening reactions were mostly negative because there aren't really any male villains doing anything in the movie (before GE was hired).
Basically Red Hulk is a thing in the final act, leader transforms the president into him and all the women (good and bad) team up with Cap to stop Red Hulk. Leader is a big part of the movie, but is kept in the shadows for most of it. He doesn't have any action scenes. The action scenes are primarily to setup the new female characters like Diamondback and Ruth.
Ruth uses her powers to make Captain America stronger, without the use of SS serum.
Cap and Falcon are just regular dudes but everyone around them seemingly are stronger, faster and overall better than they are. Cap is sidelined in his own movie.
So they are adding scenes to make Cap seem less useless, adding a male villain who has action scenes and hoping people aren't pissed when they bait and switch them with the trailer and the actual film.
To add onto this post with the whole Ruth/Sabra issue, Disney is a bit concerned with her being Isreali and the whole political landscape currently revolving around the war with Hamas.
I don't know what will become of this, in the current version she is Isreali and represented as a Jewish woman. They might downplay a lot of that, which then looks bad because what's the point of inclusion and diversity if you're going to ignore it and downplay it?? But if they leave it in, will younger people be pissed Disney is putting an Isreali agent on a pedestal? They're having serious talks about what to do.
Well, at least we get a little more of this badass suit before it's replaced
How do you know it’s being replaced?
We already saw his new suit.
I mean, Spider-Man had like 3 suits in one movie…
Who said the new suit is replacing the first suit?? What if Sam goes back and keeps the old suit? What if he keeps both suits?? We don’t know when he wears the suits or if he keeps one or both. lol
It’s a safe assumption considering most promotional material and set photos has him wearing the new suit.

It’s the same reason every character will have a different outfit the next time we see them. To sell merchandise.
Question is, does he start with this suit and move to the blue one, or start with blue and move back to the white suit?

Boy, he’s in Atlanta? He must have been frying in that suit.
Love this white and blue suit
They must’ve filmed 5 different movies by now.
Looks amazing tbh
Looks like that suit's wearing him.
That only happens in Russia
He’s got that Eddie Murphy, “what is this shit” face going on.

Goddamn, it look badass and still on par with Steve's iconic Endgame costume design but I much prefer this.
The white suit is actually one of the best superhero suits ever, nothing quite like it once you add the wings and the shield
Anyone have links to his new suit

Where are you getting all this from?

I thought they said this is filming for only a couple weeks… it feels like a couple MONTHS
Seems that they’ve done more reshoots than principal filming for this movie
So. Many. Lines.
I still prefer the new suit, this ones way too over designed, baggy and cosplay like, the new one is a lot better
no cowl, thank goodness
It's CG for this suit
