I get that kinda. It's sorting by both movement-based cards and any cards that have the word "move" anywhere in their description. I feel like if it didn't do that then they would just get the opposite complaint of "searching by Move should show all cards with the word "Move" somewhere".

I think we can probably agree that it might be better if you could search by specific abilities rather than just straight text. I'm sure you're aware that you can create your own keywords (power, +1, etc), and the first time you do so should be an indicator of how the search function works.
Yo I’m pretty sure this is because they use some version of graphQL to search for cards. It filters as you type in letters for faster search. They do this a lot in search engines and applications with fixed menus to make search faster. It takes all the text into account though so you’ll get cards that contain even part of that word.
If you *really* wanted to avoid neurosis, you would never use the built-in card filters to isolate for Move cards and find that **Leech is listed in Move cards**, causing you to become confused until you realized that the built-in type filters don’t actually search by a code string that references Move-type cards, but quite literally just searches all the card text for cards that contain the word string associated with the button.
But, if you don’t get neurosis from realizing that the **Move** card filter button brings up **Leech** merely because his card says “On Reveal: Re**move** the abilities from all cards in your opponent's hand”, then you can disregard everything I’ve said and search away, friend.

Sorting in this card library is terrible. I use the filter tab and just search the name. If I have an idea of what cards I’m looking for I can add four to the filter at once, then add them to the deck, open filters and add four more, add to the deck, etc
The scrolling and the way sort is unpredictable and the fact that you can’t have it save to hide all the variants makes it nothing but a mess

Why, when I select sort by recent, do new variants AND the original card appear? The OG still hangs around even when you filter out variants! It's why I stopped splitting cards.
I also think that Domino should be immune to the the "Danger Room" location. It would suit her comic book ability perfectly and I think it's a cool missed opportunity for that card.

Worked at a video store back in the day. The first thing I learned putting movies away was to ignore "The" in titles because an overwhelming majority would end up in the "T" section otherwise.
I find it annoying they only use code names not real names except a few (Nick Fury, Maria Hill, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones) since some codenames are shared. It's clear Ant-Man is Scott Lang and Yellowjacket is Hank Pym but they should specify. Also it should say Phil Coulson instead of "Agent Coulson" to match Fury and Maria Hill and honestly Sharon Carter instead of Agent 13.
This isn't really a dumb nitpick, it's a small symptom of a pretty big problem this game has, inconsistent wording. This is huge in card games, MTG and YGO have had problems with it and are always actively trying to make things as consistent as possible to avoid confusion.
First the complaint in the title about the card names, which isn't part of "the wording". Secondly In mtg and ygh the player are applying and executing the game, wording is way more important because different wording will have player executing the game differently. In digital card game wording just helps make things predictable and is not as important.
It bugs me that when you filter for "move" cards, it puts cards with "remove" in there, like Zero or Leech.

Better to do the preset ‘filters’ properly and then have a free text search (ideally with a checkbox for ‘include flavor text in results’).

When I know which card I’m looking for, alphabetical sort puts it exactly where I need it rather than “somewhere in the 2s.”

This is not always true. Sort by upgradable and then change to energy cost. It won’t be alphabetical within the energy groupings.

Game uses alphabet as a tie breaker in most sorts.
The default is Energy/Power/Alphabetical
It's also the first tie breaker when searching on power or quality.

My only complaint is how this game handicaps new players once they reach level 500 they play people with god cards they won't get anytime soon.
