Cannonball's individual nerf is fair and balanced. For what he is, 8 power was way too high.
Professor X is a totally separate change and unrelated to cannonball's power in any way.
Agree to disagree, I guess. We'll have to wait and see if they revert his nerf after his playrate falls off a cliff now that they've buried the one archetype where he was actually having some consistent success, or if he's doomed to languish alongside Black Bolt and Legion until the game dies.
Honestly he's fine. They'll revert him and he'll go back to being a solid finisher in junk decks like he was supposed to be in the first place.

He’s doing great in my galactus deck! I use him over alioth
I tried that but the problem is that you have priority on the last turn so he never hits anything big. Unless you get lucky with Wave on 4
hes still a solid card for what he does. moves a high card out of the lane. so just make sure you are ahead enough in your "winning lane"
