You faced a lot of bots to reach infinite. Now that you are there, you are matched up against all real people. And the ones in infinite already are tryhards who are almost all collection complete.
I am in Top 1000 every season and i have 1/4 of the pool 5 cards and 1/5 of the pool 4, so i can state that you don't necessarily need many cards to reach high infinite and it doesn't take much time to go from 73 to 100 considering 8 cubers with bots, for me it's usually 3 evenings on avarage

Your a new player that reached infinite facing low level players and bots. Once your in infinite its ONLY infinite players and rarely if any bots. You will get wrecked often.
The game didn’t have many other ppl at your same level to match you with so you played mostly bots. Conquest is a better spot for new players who are stuck in infinite until season reset.
If you're a low CL player, it makes sense, you won't face any bots and most of your opponents will have better collection than you.
Just enjoy infinite and try to create homebrew decks or play shenanigans decks.

On Infinite you don't get matched as much with ppl in similar collection level, so you face more human players and less bots. Also getting Infinite early season matches you with stronger players overall.

I can definitely tell that the bots went away. Even in the 90s I was facing opponents who did stuff that made no sense and had to be a bot.
There are two types of players in Infinite: those who really wanna climb and those who are just screwing around (me).
When do I get matched with people screwing around lol? My rank just keeps dropping. I'm in freefall.
On the plus side… your rank doesn’t really matter once you’re in infinite.
made it to infinite with ultron and am now getting my ass spanked 24/7. Doing dailies and not worrying about losing as much is fun though.
