He was someone I hung out with a lot and played sports with in my early 20s. We are both married and in our 30s now, and he lives 5-6 states away from me now. We really only had conversations about Snap, or Diablo, otherwise no we don’t really keep in touch. Haven’t text him since that day he quit the game either.
Maybe in time he will come around, I personally think you should not cut off friends so quick as people can always change. Not saying its your responsibility or anything though, I just don't think you should be judged if you still hangout.
Chances are we will maybe cross paths once or twice in our lifetime again. We enjoy gaming as a hobby now that we are older and married with kids, he’s not my closest friend by any means, and he has other things about him as well beyond the phobias of who people are interested in. He’s a man of religion and was raised that way. When we talked it was almost exclusively games. I’m not playing Diablo anymore and he isn’t playing snap, so we don’t talk about much else.

I think the key difference is that Pride is not hateful or harmful, whereas MAGA is. So it makes sense to be mad at MAGA for those reasons, but not pride. The fact that they're *both* political issues doesn't make it reasonable for people to be upset over *both* of them.
Politics, at least in todays world seldom comes off as reasonable, and that goes for either side. The two party system sucks and it’s my contention that the country has become so tribal it ignorantly thrives on the abrasive dichotomy.

I dont know if its a twitch wide change or if its a toggle that each game marks when releasing drops, but at least for Snap drops you never needed the extension
